    I went two weeks ago for an emergency appointment to FILL a ************* due to me biting down on ice. The dentist who was very nice and informative she examined the tooth and agreed to fill but later decided that she would Not fill and since the ortho was there to go ahead and have a root canal done to prevent future pain on damage. I agreed and the procedure was done (same day) I was told before and after the procedure that I would have to follow up to have the tooth pulled down to have a crown placed on it. I went in today for follow up and the ortho looked at the tooth and said he could not pull the tooth down and that if I wanted I could get a second opinion from different ortho but he could not do it. I then asked what would be the end result if the tooth could not be pulled down and crowed? he stated that it would need to be extracted and a possible implant could Be placed. The reason for my complaint today is that I feel Trickedinto getting a procedure done without the end result that we discussed and was Promised! Before and after the root canal was done I believed the dentist and surgeon was performing in my best interest. I am so disappointed that I have to find look for yet another dentist to go over someones elses work.
