    JD (the Pickle Guru) was such a pleasure to work with. Right away he and I saw eye to eye with design and **************. I had two projects: 1. a Nursery in an attic-like room, and 2. to use up the remnants from a very delicate gold leafed and glass beaded wall paper. For the first project, he provided a lot of guidance in selecting the right wall paper and paste for a very poorly temperature controlled room with curved ceilings and rounded corners. Using remnants on the second project was complicated. We had to find the right space in the home to fit the wall paper rather than buying enough wall paper to fill the space. It was a bit of a backwards project. Ultimately the best spot for the unique paper was a ceiling, which made JD's job tougher! A lot of math, and mental gymnastics went into getting it right and using all but a few square inches. All around, it was a fantastic experience and I am so glad we found JD!

    JDs work is impeccable. Not only did he do the work asked of him but he had to repair the poor work previously done by a prior contractor. Highly recommend!

    The previous owners of our new home loved wallpaper, me not so much. I decided to look for someone who removed wallpaper since that is not my forte. When I looked at the BBB website I stumbled across The Pickle Guru. Intrigued by the name, I looked farther. I found that he indeed did remove wallpaper as part of his services. He came to my house and gave me an estimate which I found to be more than fair. After speaking with him I also found out that he is an artist and not only does traditional painting but specialty painting as well. I liked his vision and the pictures on his website so I decided to contract with him. He removed the wallpaper and did traditional painting in part of our home which I was very pleased with. Then he put his artistic skills to work and did an amazing job in our master bedroom! The room turned out so beautiful. He exceeded my expectations! I take everyone up to our room now and the response is always the same, this is amazing!. Not only is JD very talented, but he is a great person to work with. He makes great suggestions and blends seamlessly into your life making his time in the house very comfortable. I highly recommend The Pickle Guru!

    In my lifetime I have had several contractors doing working in around my home but no one could surpass the service and end results I received from JD the PICKLE GURU! The dictionary describes guru as expert or master of a certain knowledge. That definition doesnt even come close to the service JD has accomplished on the project that was brought to his attention the mess that I had turned out to be a wonderful masterpiece. I find JD to be well organized, extremely professional, talented, punctual, clean, compassionate for his craft, knowledgeable and a tremendous problem solver. I was getting so stressed when ** told me there wasnt going to be enough wallpaper to complete the job. He went above and beyond his installation and contacted the manufacturer to see if we can get more paper . Unfortunately l didnt want to wait the timeframe the manufacturer gave to get the paper but the **** helped with a design that would work for my dining room and I couldnt be more pleased with the outcome. ** cleaned up the work area each day he left he even purchased a special tool so there wouldnt be too much dust with all the extreme patching of the walls he had to do before he could hang the wallpaper. What a marvelous job! After completion of the project JD even sent me a video of the work in progress and the end project! I am extremely happy with the services provided and the new look in my dining room. YES I would definitely recommend The Pickle Guru to anyone who needs wall covering and/or painting. THANK YOU ** for all your hard work and the beautiful facelift to my dining room!

    JD came & completed an accent wall in my bathroom. He did an excellent job ( I had the wallpaper for a long time) wall is finally done, great job, quick & efficient. Very pleased with his ******** Highly recommend this guy??

    A true perfectionist who takes great pride in his work. I highly recommend JD Pickles! He hung grass cloth wallpaper in my dining area and it looks amazing. His work is a reflection of his passion!
