We have hired *** to do MANY projects since we bought a home in 2015. These included ... 1. Repairing a serious structural problem (leaning brick wall)2. New roof and gutters 3. Re-cladding garage with siding 4. Renovating the basement and the top upstairs level, including new floors, new closets, installing new baseboard heating equipment, etc.5. Tuckpointing 6. EV wall charger installation 7. And a few others Never were we charged above what *** quoted (including scope change orders) ; in fact, he charged us BELOW his estimate a few times. Highly rate him!

I hired Reisinger as a GC for our upstairs primary suite renovations. While the subcontractors did satisfactory construction work, I do NOT recommend Reisinger Remodeling because the pricing he puts in writing does NOT include all his charges. We had a 15-page agreement w/full architectural drawings I provided in advance, a water contract and 3 amendments totaling $85,442. After the work was done, he invoiced me $97,597 (+14%). The undisclosed charges were for work IN the contract scope/drawings and were NOT communicated as extra until the invoice. He even charged me $600 to paint damage his team caused to my basement ceiling.I sent payment of $92,500 and a release to cover the dispute the day after the final inspection. *** emailed me back accusing me of stealing from him, being mentally ill and a deranged and crazy customer. He hired an attorney and increased the amount I owed to $101,359. *** did NOT provide an affidavit of all subcontractors used, amounts owed and paid to them BEFORE demands for final payment were made. He NEVER provided receipts for materials. He claimed costs not matching subcontractor lien waivers. It took six months with attorney fees to settle.Besides money, our contract stated the work was to begin no later than 12/1/21. *** did NOT file for the permit for 2 months so work began 1/4/22. *** did NOT show up every week to the site - when he did it was for 15 minutes for the entire week. Had I known all this, I would NOT have hired him.
