I've been trying to cancel my monthly service since October of 2023. I've emailed the customer service email and tried chatting with people on the website but have been unable to get it cancelled. I received one response in November asking for my name, ID number, and location I signed up and in December my card was not charged. I thought the membership was cancelled. However, I was then charged in January. I emailed customer service again, no response. I was charged in February, emailed again, no response. They tried charging me in March but I cancelled the card. Now they want my new information to charge me again but I can't get a hold of anyone. I tried to submit an online form to cancel my membership and it says my code is not active so I can't cancel it. But I am still being charged. I would like a refund for November, January, and February charges. Membership number 6259+886792Business Response

This business repeatedly enters people into automatic monthly payments unknown to the customer. Theyll offer you a discount car wash and if you say yes theyll run your credit card and enter you into an automatic monthly payment. No contract, no signature, not even a receipt. I unfortunately dont often check my bank statements but recently found theyve been charging me $24.99 a month for the last 17 months. I am serving an overseas tour in the military and havent been home in a year, so I emailed the company with no response. When I reviewed their ******** reviews, it seems this happens to many other individuals, who also get charged monthly without consenting. The business doesnt respond to emails of customers requests to end the monthly subscriptions. This doesnt seem legal and is an obvious scam. Who can I contact to ensure they can no longer get away with this scam?Business Response

I signed up for the ***************** membership under a promotion they had when they opened the new location. The promotion was 50% off for 6 month price lock.The first 2 months my credit card was charged $25, but then they charged me $50 for the following 3 months. I did not notice it on my bill until now.I contacted their customer service and she said all she can do is cancel my membership, She said she can not issue a refund. in the middle of last november i went to this car wash. The employee told me it would be $10 for one month and then renew on the December 16th 2023 for $44.99 Yesterday early morning on December 13th i had a charge to my account for $44.99. I messaged **************** right away but nobody ever answered. I called and the lady on the phone told me she cant find my account because the employee didnt even take down any of my information, not even my phone number. She told me she will escalate this issue and i would hear back. Today I called again (12/14) and the lady on the phone cancelled my membership and told me she cant issue me a refund and I have to message customer service. So now I dont even have a membership but they have my money. I went to their web page again and started a chat with a women named ****. She informed me that according to their policy I wont get a refund. Only under circumstances that one of my family members died or someone is in the hospital. I cant beliebe she stated that. Well thank god nobody in my family died. I think the last thing on my mind would be a car wash refund if that would be the case. I also told her that I never even received a receipt and was explained this kind of refund policy. She stated it is posted at the car wash. I just want my money back because all that doesnt sound right.Business Response

In May 2022 we signed up with Okie Express for 2 car wash memberships under ******** and *******************************. Shortly thereafter, we decided to cancel one of the memberships. I went in person to the car wash and asked them to cancel and they "looked into it" but couldn't figure out how to do that. They said they were going to escalate to the Manager, but we never heard anything. Since they were unable to cancel the one membership I went in and asked to cancel both and asked for all of our records to be removed from the system. The person I spoke to said they would do so. I followed up with Okie Express through their customer portal and through email online with no response whatsoever. As of today, we are STILL getting charged $29.99 per month with no resolution.Business Response

I signed up for a membership for a month then cancelled my membership and they continued to charge me. I also was wrongfully charged the day I signed up for the membership, they said they did not charge me twice and after I got bank statement I see they charged me for an extra wash after signing up for the membership. I tried to get ahold of them back in august but was given the wrong email address and never received a return call on the number I was given. This month after noticing I was still being charged, I was given the same wrong email address and the same phone number that i can't get a call returned on. I paid ***** per month for a car wash membership. I moved out of state in Feb 2023 and notified the car wash to terminate my membership. They continued drafting ***** from my account until June of ************************************************************ error. If you provide feedback we appreciate you taking the time to let us know how we are doing. Thank you for your business. I have a copy of the email confirmation as well. I began my new membership at a newer location closer to my house on February 11, 2023 ($20/month). However, I continued to see automatic charges ($24.99/month) to my checking account on the dates listed above for the location off ** 10th on top of the ($20/month) charge for the North ***** location. When I discovered the unauthorized charges, I contacted customer service at the ** 10th location. They reviewed my account information and confirmed my account showed inactive/cancelled. They then provided me with a card and number for **************** to contact ************** to dispute my charges. I have made several attempts to contact this phone number and left messages. I never received a call back. I have told this location multiple times and they only provide the customer service phone number to call. After 6 unauthorized charges and several attempts to dispute my charges with no luck, I finally had to cancel my debit card. I am seeking reimbursement for these unauthorized charges. I need to know how or who I need to talk to get this resolved since Okie Express Auto Wash **************** is unable to return phone calls/messages. I am rejecting this response because: The day i submitted the complaint with BBB I also, as a last ditch effort, submitted my complaint with the exact information on their website under Contact Us and left another message with **************** with no response. There have been numerous phone calls and messages left for **************** to resolve this issue. No one is responding! I also sent an email on 9/12 to ************************ providing the same information I provided on 8/31/23. No response!
