      In January, I received a letter from Crowe about Unclaimed Property owed to me. The instructions were clear: email a copy of this letter back to Crowe by June 1, and they would take care of getting my unclaimed property for me. I emailed them 8x. I never got one reply with a confirmation or anything. On their website, I found the contact information of the staff person responsible for my account. I called and emailed this person directly. Nothing. I found this person's manager and contact them. Nothing. All I wanted was a confirmation that they received my letter and were processing my claim. Nothing. At this point, I must assume that this company is a scam and tan off with my unclaimed property. They probably need to be investigated by the BBB.

      Crowe LLP bought out my previous CPA company. It has been a horrible transition. They do not care about customer relations. Charge high prices. Out of nowhere right at the start of tax season...I get an email with some pathetic excuse. This is what I was told, "I am reaching out to you today to inform you that Crowe, LLP will not be available to render tax preparation services to you for the upcoming year. It is unfortunate but due to various circumstances affecting our firm and industry as a whole this is a decision we needed to make. I suggest that you seek the services of another CPA as soon as possible with the deadlines coming up."Wow thank you Crowe for the heads-up. This is not how you do business.
