Spoke with "*****" who said they had a duplex available for rent and that I could do a "self tour" of the property. She said she would make sure the duplex was unlocked. When we arrived to the location we found that is was in fact occupied. The occupant stated they were not putting the place up for rent "anytime soon". It was after hours, so when we tried to contact "*****" or someone at the office we only got the voicemail option. I select option "2". This was the line for the "emergency maintenance". Thinking I would surely get someone on the line to speak with. Sure enough, the call was answered by a gentleman who said he did not know why ***** would have given us that address, it "wasn't like her to do that", and that the actual address was a different number on ***** *** drive. I let him know that the website also showed the occupied home to be available for rent, not the vacant location. He said that is "really not good" and he would "speak with management about this in the morning". I asked him if there was any way we could get in touch with *****. He stated "No. ***** is part of our call center in ***************". We did go to that address and the home was indeed unlocked. It was a very nice duplex. This morning I received a call from "*****************" from a local phone number This is the number listed on their website, it is a Highland ** number. When I spoke with "*****" she claims she provided us with the vacant address. When I explained to her that we have the email she sent with the occupied address listed she still denied providing the incorrect address. I asked "*****" why they have an occupied home listed on their website as a home available for rent, she said that is just the home they always post. When I asked her where she was located she was very hesitant, finally stating she was in *********. I let her know that is highly unusual. She then hung up the phone.
