      Speech therapist ****** mishandled my son during an evaluation session by twisting his arm and yanking a toy out of his hand. Her demeanor was unfriendly the entire 45 minute session. I immediately felt uncomfortable to continue my services with this program and complained to the director ******************* about the situation and nothing was done. They then pursued to bill me for this service which I was forced to cancel because of my experience there. When I tired disputing the charges, I received a rude voicemail from the office manager *** stating that she will not waive the fee they charged me. The evaluation I received was not to standards and I do not trust continuing my services with staff members that condone and cover up this behavior. I am asking for this fee to be waived, if not I will continue to file a continue with **** against licensee ****** and everyone involved with this incident.

      BDI Playhouse Children's Therapy is sorry to hear that the perception of this parent's experience with us was a negative one. For the past 22 years , we have stood behind the work we do with all families in our care, and have never received a complaint such as this during that time. Although our perception of events and the voicemail she received may differ from this parent's, we are happy to honor her request to waive the bill she was sent.
