I purchased my car in April 2023. When I bought the car it had a cracked windshield that I had to repair on my own because the dealership refused to fix it. Aso my check engine soon light was on. I went back to the dealership several times to have them look at the cause of the check engine soon light. I wanted for 3 hours to have it repaired and as soon as I drove off the lot it came right back on. I bought the car in April and in June it stalled on me. I took it to an auto shop and they informed me I needed to get new transmission lines and many other things repaired( documents are attached with specific details). I've had the car for two months and I've already spent close to $1000 in repairs. In October 2023 my car stalled again!!!!! I took it to the same auto shop but a different location and they advised I need about $3000+ in repairs for my car to work properly. My car is extremely unsafe to drive.

To Whom It May ********************** apologize for the delay in responding. As always, we are here to help however we can. As our ****** Reviews show and continue to prove, we have always been incredibly customer-satisfaction focused here. It's paramount for us at Oswego Motors. .

****************** knowingly purchased a vehicle that, by no means, was free of mechanical defects. Not only was she aware of the inherent risks involved with purchasing a 2006 Pontiac with approximately ******* miles, we made sure to go over those risks with her. The vehicle was sold AS IS and WITH NO WARRANTY IMPLIED, yet we helped ****************** on several different occasions after the sale was complete in an effort to satisfy.

I'm happy to answer any additional questions you may have.

    Warm Regards,

I am rejecting this response because: I was verbally told by ***** the car ONLY had cosmetic issues that needed to be taken car of. Yes, Oswego Motors attempted to help me on several occasions but they were unsuccessful. One one occasion I even waited for close to three hours and the problem was fixed up until I drove off the parking lot. Thank you

    Sincerely,

    Complaint: 21081598

I am rejecting this response because: Oswego Motors could've took the time to properly look at the car and fix it before selling it to me. All I want is my $1100 back. Thank you and have a great day.

    Sincerely,

My wife and I bought a van on 11/13/23 from Oswego Motors. It is a 2016 GMC **** Van for $20,000 with ****** miles. We live in ********* **. After we purchased the van and drove it from Oswego to ********* that same day the check engine light came on. We took it to a local mechanic the next day and they said the exhaust system (catalytic converter) needed to be replaced We contacted Oswego Motors that same day because the van was still under warranty. They said to drive it back to Oswego Motors and they would replace the exhaust system. We did the next day. We waited there at Oswego Motors all day while they replaced the exhaust system. Drove the van home. Today, 11/26/23, the check engine light came on showing the same code as it did before that the exhaust system/cadalytic converter needs to be replaced.

    Business Response

    Good Afternoon -

Hopefully this messages finds you well. I apologize for the delayed response. My communication has been indirect via email, primarily with the mother-in-law instead of directly with the customer.  We've done our best to rectify the situation but unfortunately have hit an impasse in addressing the issue with our customer. It's an important to note, the issues they are experiencing fall outside the scope of any existing warranty, but we remain committed to providing assistance.  We've agreed to handle the issue for the customer here at our repair facility but because they live several hours away, they are absolutely steadfast in their decision in not coming back here to our dealership. Since we are capable of handling the repair, we will not provide reimbursement if they opt to have the repairs done elsewhere instead of at our location.

    Best Regards,
