      First off, we have been a customer of this company for over 10 years now. Our hot water heater, which they originally installed, needed the combination gas control replaced. I called and made an appointment for repair. They scheduled and arrived the next day to do the repair. The repair was nearing completion and the technician stated that the quarter turn ball valve was broken and needed to be replaced. I asked him to replace the valve and he replied that he does not have anything with him to do the repair and that a different guy would come and do that. Here is where I have major complaints about this company. Not only did they charge over $300 for the initial repair they then charged over $300 for the second guy to show up, take about 10 minutes to replace the valve, and finish the first technician's job by turning on the water supply to the water heater and setting the temp. on the new gas control. I completely understand having to charge a little extra to do the ball valve replacement, but to charge as much as the initial job is robbery!! The owner stated that's just what the industry charges for that service. To that I say hogwash... I called several other companies that charge $75 to $120 less. Additionally, these other places stated that they would only charge time and materials for repairs while on a job. The sad part is that we have been customers of theirs for quite a long time and we will never recommend, or use them again.
