I have a special needs son who wanted to attend class who is 18. We did an interview in August 2022, trial class and it was agreed they could accommodate him. Keep in mind, they KNEW he was Special Needs UPFRONT. Class went fine going 2 x week for 7 month, not missing but 1-2 classes and he even tested for 2 belts. The last being 2 weeks ago Jan 31, 2023 .I received an email and then phone call on Feb 14, 2023 they needed to talk to me.Suddenly the 'instructor' of the class, **********, decided he could no longer deal with my son and he wanted him out of the class, that night. One hour before class. I had received NO emails, phone calls or person-to-person talks within the 7 months of my son taking these classes. Now suddenly there's a problem and he's kicked out? After several emails from the wife, not the instructor, not only will they NOT honor him staying until I can find a new place for him to take classes, they gave no warnings or indication anything was wrong or my son was acting out. They also KNEW he was special needs and may need extra help or instruction, yet ignored it AND they never talked to me, his parent. So they agreed to take on a special needs child knowing the circumstances, did not talk to the parent if and when there was an issue and will NOT HONOR their stance he could stay until a new training place is found. There are not enough instructors for the adult class, no corrections or modifications were made to accommodate my son and then suddenly kicking him out because I stood up to them over their practices of destroying a young man's confidence and desire to do a 'sport'.What a poor business practice and way to treat a special needs individual and family. I can not recommend this place of business to anyone with a special needs child or someone who needs extra practice or guidance in Tae **** Do. Do not patronize this business - for your child's sake.
