    I was in contact with the owner the entire process of trying to buy and install the correct water-powered sump pump for our backup sump pump option in a new system we recently installed. We spoke multiple times on email and also facetime and audio calls making sure everything was done properly. We paid $577 for the product in August of 2024. After much troubleshooting, our municipal water pressure was inadequate for this product and so we had to uninstall it and ask for a refund. Their website shows zero information on a return policy in this instance. It only has warranty details for successful installations. We did every single thing they recommended, including testing our home water pressure before purchase, but the product still ended up being incompatible. Upon return, they said the pipes used were glued to the pump, and as such it couldn't be salvaged or resold. I understand this aspect, but at no point in the process did they suggest a temporary way to test the pump out (like with tape), nor did they warn that this was a potential outcome. They refunded us just $100 for misc parts that came with the product, but I feel this is unfair and I deserve a bigger percentage of my money back. At the very least, they need more of an obvious warning that you could end up with a $500 paperweight if it doesn't work for your scenario.Thanks for any help you can offer with this dispute. The owner was very helpful and nice through the process, but i strongly disagree with this outcome, and they've offered no other recourse.
