I have been a member of club pilates for over a year now. due to unforeseen circumstances, i have to move out of the country. section 5 (b) of the club pilates contract states the following : "if you move more than 25 miles away from your original club of enrolment, and club pilates is unable to transfer your membership to a comparable membership within 25 miles of your new residence then you may cancel this agreement without penalty".I have provided Club Pilates a copy of my new ID with the new address listed, and they are not able to transfer the membership to a comparable facility. So per contract, i should be able to terminate my contract without penalty. I brought this issue to their attention, and they refused to cooperate, and attempted to charge my credit card. in my opinion, this is a breach of contract and i shouldn't be charged for early termination of membership. please see a copy of the contract attached to this complaint.

I have enrolled to Club Pilates and since I have started I have received several additional fees for late cancellation and no show. If I did not cancelled I did show. The no show fees are all invalid. Additionally as of 3/27 I have pulled my back which caused me to cancel at the last minute on 3/27. on 4/3, I cancelled at 6:40 pm rather than 6:30 pm for the 6;30 am class on 4/4. Few hours later, I noticed I was added to the class again. How did I make the waiting list if I cancelled the booking. I re-cancelled and sent them a note, on top of it, I was charged $15 for no show. I spoke with the Club Pilates Manager in Park Ridge where she would not hear it. On top of if, I just got charged $229 for the month of April, they are cancelling my subscription immediately without prorating the membership. I am requesting a refund of $45 fees for the invalid fees for week of 3/27 + $229 membership fee for the month of April. Thank you

I pulled my back the evening of March 26th,  I cancelled all the classes that I had scheduled for that week, still I have received several cancellation fees and no show fees.  On April 3rd, I cancelled a class that it was scheduled for 6:30 am on the 4th.  The class was cancelled at 6:40pm,  around 8pm , I noticed I was re-added to the class as 'You made the waiting list'. I cancelled immediately.  The next day I was charged 2 late cancellation fees and 1 no show fees for the same day, same class.  I called them to explain that I had pulled my back and I was still in great pain, and disputing the charges occurred on April 4th.  I was told that it needed to be reviewed with the manager later that day. I was then contacted saying that I was responsible for all those charges.  These types of fraudulent charges have appeared on my credit card even when I show up for a class, which they do not want to address.  I asked them I would like to cancel. They cancelled me immediately but refused to send me the fee of $229 that I was charged on March 28 for the month of April  (March 28-April 27).
