    On March 21st, 2024 a deposit of $2000 was provided to KB Builders and on April 26th, 2024 a final payment of $4105 was provided. This company was contracted to renovated the kitchen. The specific items included:
    Remove backsplash and floor
    Fix floor and joist below floor in the kitchen
    Install tile backing
    Install new backsplash and grout
    Install new floor and transition piece going into the living room
    Install new toe kick
    Fill in spot with sheet rock and mud
    Remove phone jacks patch
    Install divider for tile and carpet in bathroom

    During the construction process trim inside the pantry was broken and not replaced. There was grout along the the cabinetry and on the new flooring that was not cleaned up behind the oven. The contractor just pushed the oven back and covered up the mess. Most of this has been cleaned up except one spot on the floor. The biggest problem is the grout on the backsplash itself. The gout has started to crack in multiple areas.

    The contractor has been contacted multiple times and his response has either been "I will fix it" or "That is not my responsibility". Since the trim was broken in the process of laying the floor I feel this is his responsibility to find something close. He has not made any effort to fix the cracked grout. This installation has a one year warranty but unfortunately it seems worthless.

    This was the message that I received from her specifically after we gotten done with her project I had to informed her that I warranty the work. I do not the materials I install this clearly must be a manufacturers defect if the grout has fallen out of certain spots, we do everything accordingly and to directions She needs to contact the manufacturer and proceed with a claim with them.
