Contacted this business for a yard clean up due to excessive leafs and acorns in backyard. Was quoted one price and by the end of the job the price had changed an additional 2 times. Not mad about the price change I just feel that is very unprofessional to spring that on an unexpecting client. To add to this they not only used MY yard equipment (rakes, shovels, tarp, wheelbarrow) to do the job but they stole my tarp and never brought it back or replaced it as they said they would. The job was only 75-80% done as there were still a large amount of leaves and acorns in the yard. My yard does not have any type of shelter to cover tools and such so the theft of the tarp caused our yard equipment to get wet and rusty. I feel as it was very unprofessional to come to a job use/damage the homeowner’s equipment and raise the price numerous times.

The price of the job changed once and that was from the time of the phone call to the moment I went and actually looked at the yard there was no intention of us doing this yard until after they had accepted the price it went from $225 on the phone to $275 when I was speaking to his wife in the yard like I told them on the phone I needed to see before I could give a solid price. Now as for the job it took me and one other guy almost 5 hours to clean up the yard which is very rare for me I do this everyday and we are noted for the speed we have getting jobs done our issue was that after it was all said I’m done I used all 14 tarps I had and still had more on the ground to move to the trailer I asked if we could borrow his for the time being I let him know we would bring it back the next day which didn’t happen because the trailer wasn’t dumped yet in the meantime this guy is a being a total smart ass with his little smartass texts he was sending I told my son here take this tarp and put it in his porch my son said it was done and I didn’t hear anything else 6 to 7 days later he texts again with a smartass comment about me just keeping it I said my son left it on your porch that and he says no he didn’t yes he did well I seen a tarp like his folded up and thought it was forgotten but when I talked to my son he said he did leave it  that was the one we had already folded up but this guy wasn’t hearing anything so I left it as is so back to the job we had almost 4400lbs of leaves and walnuts on the trailer in tarps so for him to say we weeent done is crazy I mean he came outside and tipped us so if the job was bad why did he tip. I will not replace something we returned I know it was there

Why would you wait 6 to 7 days before texting that you still didn’t have it so anything could have happened

I am rejecting this response because:

The tarp was never returned and the business is very unprofessional in the way of handling this situation. (You can tell just by their response to the BBB)
