      IHaving been a patient of this office for more than 15 ye.
      ars I have chosen to go to another facility. This office has provide me care for lasik and cataract surgery, as well as prescription glasses and macular degeneration care. I have been a patient of many different doctors during that time due to turnover. The staff has always been courteous and helpful. Even the last few years I have had no reason to question the treatment I received but within the last year, I have had nothing but concerns about my treatment. I found my doctor unresponsive to my concerns about the medication he prescribed, as well as the side effects I experienced. He seemed to be oblivious to my medical and prescription history. His expertise seemed to be limited to his speciality of eye care and could not acknowledge his limitation and refer me to another doctor on staff. His knowledge was so limited he had to ask his nurse for medication recommendation. Needless to say at that point my 5 year patient doctor relationship was over. My lesson learned was to be more own advocate and make sure my trust must be earned.
