My husband refinanced a loan through Heights Finance in Rock Falls, IL. He never signed up for the loan payment to be automatically withdrawled, nor was any of this disclosed to him at the time of the paperwork. One he could not legal be signed up for automatic payments withdraws because the account is in my name only. I had already made a payment for this month, but another payment was taken out of my account that I did not authorize. I will be contacting my bank and filing fraud charges. He tried to get it resolved through Rock Falls, IL branch, but she said she couldn't help him. I am not disputing that he has these payments he had to make, we are disputing the automatic ACHs. This has caused my account to be short and is close to causing issues with my car payment.

I called to make my monthly payment and was told without asking that I had money available. I have paid on this loan for 2 years on time every time. Then a couple weeks later when something came up I called about these available funds and was denied. Then when they called about the payment I expressed my feelings about how it was handled and Heights reported me late to the credit bureau even though I paid the bill at a later date the month before Now they are trying to effect my credit even when the bill isn't technically late.

Heights finance repossessed my truck in 2016. This loan was also filed on bankruptcy. The original loan was for $1000 I’m thinking. I owed 600 on it when they repossessed my truck. Six years later, I get a garnishment for 275 a week from this crooked company. I am getting my attorney involved. And I’m going to let everyone know how this company operates stealing.

I had loans with this company since the early 2000’s, always with high interest rates. The last loan I used my truck as collateral. I got behind, owing total at the time, less than $1000, in the $600 area. I understand if you fall behind 90 days they will repo the vehicle used as collateral. This was Christmas of 2016, I go out to go to work, trucks gone. So that turned out to be a swell day and Christmas for my kids. I file bankruptcy on all my debit early 2017. Heights repo’d the truck, sold it and evidently got $10 for my truck that was worth at least $2000. My bankruptcy was dismissed in 2019. This is now 2022, started at a new employer and guess who wormed in and is having me garnished for $2200, the original loan wasn’t for that much, they repo’d my truck and the remainder of the loan, 5-600 was filed on bankruptcy. I’ve called them and asked what’s up with them stealing money from me? Oh it’s interest on money I don’t owe them. These people extort money, they’re thieves, charge the highest interest rates to people who have bad or no credit, because these people have no choice and are in a bind to even take a loan out with these crooks. I have an attorney, I don’t care if it costs me 5 times what I’m being garnished for, these crooks are getting exposed and I’m letting everyone know on social media what kind of crooked business they run, extortion money from people that are already financially strapped. DO NOT take a loan out with these people! Do a payday loan, donate plasma, whatever. Just don’t mess with these crooks or you’ll be paying 5 times the amount you borrow.
