This company should be investigated for fraud, harassment and threatening emails. Please contact me for a barrage of emails entailing facts to this complaint.

This client has been sent many, many threatening emails. I have asked him to refrain from making threats as they don't accomplish anything positive and I offered a compromise to resolve our dispute. Over days of contact, he's refused to address a compromise and insists on ignoring the facts. Finally, last week I adivsed him I won't engage in destructive behavior so I won't respond to his emails. This complaint is the result of that email.

Stay away! These people apparently have a history of scamming. I originally gave this company a 5 star review but unfortunately that was before the school year started. I hate posting negative reviews publicly but I feel scammed and don’t want another small company like mine to lose money. Long story short, we paid for advertising in school folders, 23–24 school year. Once my son came home with a different folder, I called the school which told me that they never received folders from this company and that they will NOT be giving them out this year AT ALL, even if they are late due to having to purchase their own. Confused, I tried reaching out to this company because it was my understanding that folders would be sent out the first week of school. I am now told that I will not receive a refund and there is NO guarantee of any time line folders will be delivered. There was ZERO communication that my ad wouldn’t be seen by anyone until possibly January (which is now not on the table at all). The company has offered me a full pocket ad but once again, there will be NO folders this school year so that doesn’t equate to anything. No product. No refund. Scam. As stated, even IF the school were to disperse the folders half way through the year(which they said they wouldn’t) I wouldn’t even get half my money back. If you’ve been scammed too please remember anything over $500 constitutes a felony. I will be contacting the Illinois Secretary of State to investigate this company.

As far as the fraud and felony issues are concerned, those are false accusations that are being used to distract from the facts and disparage our excellent reputation. We're producing what was paid for. There is no fraud. This client knows our history with the school and that we have produced their folders for many years. We have assured her we are producing them again as expected.
We mishandled communication with our client so we apologized and offered to improve their position on the folders that will be delivered soon. We try very hard to please everyone, but sometimes that is an impossible task. We've done business with the school for many years and are in the process of producing their folders with this client's ad on them. We know the school officials understand and we hope this client will also when we deliver on our promises.

For the last four years, we've had easy, communicative transactions with Kid's First Community in regard to advertising our office on homework folders. Each year, a representative has reached out and very thoroughly explained details of what would go into our agreement. The amount was clearly stated, what would be on the homework folders and where they would be advertised, for the years we've advertised in two places.
However; this year was very different. I was contacted, rushed through the call, told I needed to get back in touch ASAP to meet their deadline. When I didn't give immediate approval, I was called again. The amount told to me on the phone was not the amount charged to the card. And when I emailed back to clarify, because I was confused how it doubled (in past years, we've always been given a discount), I was told the price was the price, no cancellations would be given and they hope I understood. All I wanted was a refund to match the price given to me on the phone, initially. I didn't understand what changed and called to speak with the representative. I also called & left a message for the company. To date, I have never received a phone call. Interesting how to get our payment, the calls were easy. To discuss a problem, no calls can be returned. The person handling things via email just kept saying that cancellations can't be made and she hopes I understand.
Well I do not understand. After years of doing business together, how can we be treated so poorly without any actual communication.? We have filed a dispute with our credit card company and have zero plans to participate in any communication with this company moving forward. I am so disappointed in how things were handled, that I'm now questioning if this isn't a scam that we've fallen for these last four years. I would never recommend that anyone to do business with them after my most recent interaction.
