I live in Pontiac Illinois, worked for a 3rd party contractor for Caterpillar which was 4M building solutions (a janitorial company). My manager had personal issues with me outside of work due to his daughter who is currently employed and was employed while I was working there. I have a voice recording of a talk me and said manager had ****** ******* and how he talked to me was extremely rude, very discriminating due to personal Reasons outside of work and that I had also went to his boss **** about some things that was not being taken care of by *****.. I had went to HR within caterpillar and the next day ***** had told me I was fired for taking this video to caterpillar HR. Was never a video of his face or any part of his body other than his voice as a voice recording. I was able to come back per *****’s boss **** but only until Friday September 16th. I was going to transfer to Decatur site but the transfer fell through on my behalf due to personal reasons and I had asked to stay at the Pontiac site. I was not allowed to because ***** was not allowing my employment to be continued at the Pontiac site. I felt as if I was fired/terminated at Pontiac site because ***** had personal issues with me outside of work, was extremely wrong and discriminating to me as an employee, not a friend outside a work place. Caterpillar has a no video policy but the video don’t include nothing but *****’s voice and my voice. I would like to get my job back as this was extremely unfair and uncalled for. I was not able to transfer to Decatur site as I said for personal reasons, so I was not able to stay at the Pontiac site for extremely irrational problems with the manager on his behalf when I only came to work to do my job and go home to support my family. I would like a resolution so I can get my job back to support my kid. I also have proof of how he had talked to me in a insubordinate way through text. I will send the video via email as well, just need the email to do so!
