    Just moving companies, beware!!! i just had a roof redone after his old company repair the work that he did on my roof.

    We recently moved to Peoria from Kansas bought a house that needed a lot of work done and hired Skyline Remodeling through A****** L*** for a full roof tear-off and replacement. After my first choice didn’t return my call, I decided to give Skyline a chance. I signed a contract on 7/26 and promised to have the job completed, but it took almost 3 weeks for them to start. Skyline has been full of excuses, and despite promises of a full crew, it has mostly been a one-man job. In the last three weeks, the roofer has only shown up four days, constantly asking for money for things like his mortgage or trailer instead of focusing on completing the work. This has caused significant delays with other contractors, such as gutters and painting, and the roof is still only 65-70% complete. With winter approaching, I'm concerned about the timeline for finishing the roof and installing gutters. Additionally, I’ve discovered that Skyline's BBB accreditation has been revoked. Our worksite is also a mess the tear off materials have been on our property for at least 2 going on 3 weeks, attracting pests and causing issues with our HOA. Despite helping with some of their financial struggles, the job remains unfinished. I’ve now had to contact the Better Business Bureau, Illinois Attorney General, and Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation due to the constant delays and lack of progress. If you're considering this company, proceed with caution.
