I had an extremely negative experience at Mad Tattoo and Piercing on July 13, 2024. I paid $50 upfront for a service that was eventually refused. Upon arrival, I was immediately subjected to unprofessional behavior. The piercer and cashier began yelling and cussing at me because I didn’t hear him call my name at first. They took my money before informing me that the piercing I wanted was something they wouldn’t perform. When I politely requested to see where the dots would be placed before the piercing, the piercer became hostile and argumentative, refusing to accommodate my reasonable request.

Additionally, he made sexual jokes, which made me feel very uncomfortable from the beginning. The situation escalated to the point where I had to call the police due to the staff member’s aggressive behavior. Despite my patience and polite demeanor throughout, the shop not only refused to provide the service but also refused to refund my money. Furthermore, the staff tried to misrepresent the situation to the police, flipping the blame onto me.

This behavior is unprofessional, unsafe, and unacceptable, and I am seeking to bring attention to these issues to prevent others from having a similar experience, and requesting a refund!

I went to this tattoo shop. First of all service was very bad they where rude. The piercer did the actual piercing with the incorrect bar causing it to nest into the skin. It is a surface piercing on back dimples. So 2 total piercings. My friend AND I both got the same done and both of ours are doing the same thing. He never told us how to clean or take care of them. Once they started nesting we went back into the shop and got terrible service by the owner he rolled his eyes at us saying “oh my god” and told us to go sit down somewhere before even listening to what we had to say. We then waited for the actual guy that did them and he w had an attitude saying that it was our fault. He grabbed my friends hip and pulled her closer and cleaned the piercings VERY rough like he was super mad at us. The only thing he told us was that we can PAY to have a different bar put in. He put the wrong one in us and charges us EACH $100 and then tried to charge us more to get them pierced with a different bar. We got them pierced on February 17th. And we went into the shop a week later with the issue. We went to another tattoo shop to get a second opinion and they said it’s the wrong bar. They refused to give us money back or redo piercings.
