    I had received notice from ********** Blue Shield of Illinois that my current place that I had my lab blood work done was not part of Our network. I called ********** Blue shield to find out where I can get our blood work done and they said Acculabs in ****. I went there to make an appointment and they say they don't any insurance except ******** and I would have to pay for it, they would give me a bill and I can submit to my insurance to get my money back. I found this strange so I called my insurance and told them and they said they would email me the forms. My husband got the blood work done on 6/1/23 and paid ****** . I mailed in the form to ********** on 6/2/23. I received the Check from Acculabs along with the providers claim summary from ********** on 6/4/23 for ******. the providers claim summary states As a participating physician, you have agreed to except this payment as payment in full and not bill our member for the amount exceeding the maximum allowance of ******1. Acculabs should have refunded me the full ******. I called ********** and said they have a contract with them and to talk to the higher person so they can give me the full amount. I went to Acculabs and asked to to talk to the owner and she dial the number on the phone and I talked to the owner on the phone. She would only give me her first name of *******. She says she doesn't have a contract with ********** and she is not giving me any money back. I also found out from ********** that she still has a contract and Acculabs sent the bill into them, that is why they sent the check to her.. She also said if she didn't have a contract with them they would have never paid her anything.i think this company is scamming people.
