    On 6/7/2023 I purchased a vehicle from renegade motors rent to renew my plates to find out my tags were to a junked vehicle so I can not renew there is no title sent to state nor has the bank received the title they have been trying over a month to resolve issue before I found out so state give me a temporary tag while secretary of state police investigation is going on

    2015 GMC Acadia Denali purchase price: $15,319 purchase date: 01/18/2023 Purchased vehicle with a signed powertrain warranty which is required by ******** Public Act 100-0004.We had the vehicle shipped to ******** where we live. We immediately noticed transmission issues upon receiving the vehicle on 01/22/2023. We scheduled an appointment with a GM licensed mechanic. The mechanic diagnosed a critical transmission failure and provided a report and estimate of repair costs. The report and estimate of repair costs was sent to the dealer on 02/01/2023 asking for compensation covered by the powertrain warranty. The dealer refused to uphold the warranty and refused to participate in a resolution to the issue. Our desire is for the dealer to uphold the warranty by covering the repair costs of the defective vehicle that they sold to us.
