    On October 24, 2023, we engaged Buff and Coat to clean, buff, and finish the hardwood floor in our kitchen, dining room, family room, and foyer. Buff and Coat was also engaged to perform hardwood floor spot repair around our kitchen island, which included extra cleaning, buffing, color enhancement, and extra finish. We chose to upgrade our finish material to Loba Ceramic Satin, which, according to Buff and Coat "Ceramic finish is the highest quality and most durable finish we offer." The cost of these services was $1,100 that was paid on 10/30. Receipt #*****.Less than a month after completing the project, our floors look more worn than they did prior to Buff and Coat's work. There are dozens and dozens of scratches in the top coat, scratches that we never experienced before Buff and Coat's work. Also, the color that was used on the hardwood floor spot repair is no where near the color of the existing floor, so it stands out like a sore thumb. Our floors, which had 5+ years of wear and tear on them, look worse now than they did prior Buff and Coat's work.The owner of Buff and Coat, *****************, came to inspect the issues on November 30, 2023. He indicated there was nothing they could do to fix the issues.I have plenty of pictures to document the damage, unfortunately I can't upload the pictures as they are greater than 5mb.
