    I am filing this complaint regarding a $916 charge for a salon service I received at Bliss Hair Studio on March 27, 2025, by stylist *** *****.I have been a loyal client of the salon for over two years and have routinely received the same type of servicesremoval and reinstallation of extensions, wash, conditioning, a cleansing treatment, a trim, and a blow-dry. Historically, these services have never exceeded $300. At this appointment, no pricing was discussed with me beforehand.After the service was completed, I was suddenly presented with a $916 total. I was visibly upset and expressed that the price had not been disclosed to me. *** admitted, I knowI should have gone over the prices with you. Despite this acknowledgment, no discount or adjustment was offered. I paid with a credit card because I felt pressured and caught off guard.I contacted ***** to dispute the overcharge, but the dispute is currently pending. I am now left with a financial burden I did not knowingly agree ***** requesting a partial refund of $450, which I believe fairly reflects the overcharge based on my service history at this same salon and market rates for similar services.I am submitting this complaint as a last resort. Ive always respected the business, but this experience has been both financially and emotionally distressing.

    Thanks for reaching out about this issue.  After a further detailed review of the transaction on our end, Bliss Hair Studio made an error on the pricing and owe a refund.  We had two different pricing lists for tape in hair extensions at our front desk, which made it confusing at checkout for our team members to price it correctly.  
    We would like to reach out to the client directly and process a refund in her requested amount of $450.  Our general manager, ****, will contact her on 4/3/25 to process a refund.  We appreciate the opportunity to correct the situation and apologize for the error of overpayment and stress the situation caused.
