      ************************* Contractor/TOTAL PACKAGE RE-MODELING LLC/Timothy's Finished Basements llc.************************* Contractor cheated ** , after bitter experience with him, we did some research thru our attorney and found out that he does business under these name which are not in good standing in ** state.We paid ************************* $19700 to get our room extension for sunroom built, he got the checks cashed and absconding since then didn't do any work other than demolishing the existing patio, he got the 1st check on Oct 3rd. and promised to complete the project *** in 6-8 weeks , initially said by Thanks giving Nov 24th but he did not do any thing other than removing Half of my patio, which also he did it when I said I want to cancel the contract as didn't do any work and absconding after taking my checks, immediate next day he came and removed half of my existing patio, since then he respond every 3-4 weeks telling all kinds of personal problems and tell he will come and meet me or call me but it never happened, last communication from him was on Dec19 asking for appointment to meet on Dec 20th 4-7PM, I have responded back I am available and send reminders but he never show up, we are pursuing to file case in the court thru our attorney.regards ********

      We lost financially due to the dishonest acts of ***************** of Basements by *** LLC. He misappropriated $43,230.00 paid to him to perform the contracted work of our basement remodeldisbursement of funds to the subcontractor, ***************************, and the purchase of materials and supplies were pocketed. He was unable to fulfill the contracted obligations due to insufficient funds. We are seeking financial compensation due to the contract not being adequately executed.Contract Amount Total $57,730.00 Paid to Contractor to complete basement - $43,230.00 Supplies needed for basement remodel. We noticed he was not buying the required items, so we purchased them and stopped giving him money - $14,500.00 Items we paid for that were to be covered by the contractor, ***************** of Basements by ***. Plumber, All About Plumbing - $1,000.00 Paint - $79.99 Counter Tops - $2,583.80 Cabinetry - $2,674.54 Millwork Materials - $646.81 Total - $6,985.14 The subcontractor *************************** is owed $5,500 by the contractor ***************** of Basements by *** LLC. The subcontractor *************************** has filed a mechanic lien on our home.The basement remains unfinished. We received an estimate of $8,258 to complete the basement. Due to the poor workmanship by Basements by *** LLC, the bid to finish the basement included repairing some of his work.
