    04/7/24 Dispute of $29 IStorage : business Advertised of promotion to free rent first month on 5' x 20' unit Contacted on the 8th via email and 9th via phone conversation - no resolve Reference# Reservation ID: *************** Unethical business practice to deceive, fraudulent, deceptive charge. Reservation made to rent out storage for the 27th of April. Online choice of date to start. Made reservation and moreover to secure a payment required (administration fee). Processed done. Received email first of date to rent unit on the 27th of April. However, a follow up email of contract sent. It read it started on the day I requested a rent out. Disputed to the merchant via email and phone that this was not requested. Because this is important due that I have not move in. Plus, they want to charge on the 7th of May, whereas, it is to be 1st month free. Their 1st month free was 7th of April. The purchase as followed: $44/month with 1st month free with administrative fee of $29 added as start up or new client. All was asked to move the actual date of the 27th not the 7th of April. They refused. Thus, on top, Of not wanting to refund the $29. Filing this grievance with BBB and my credit card company Want the refund, apology and make note publicly. It is deceptive , greed and dishonest practiced

    This storage facility is a three floor building with stair and elevator access. The elevator has been out of use since April 13th, 2023. I nine total units in the building, five of them located on the 2nd and 3rd floors without elevator access. I cant reasonably be expected to move large and heavy items without access to the elevator. I also cant move out without using the elevator, so Ive continued to pay for storage without proper access. The cost of movers to take all my belongings out of the building would exceed the cost of continued payment to storage, so Ive waited and crossed my fingers that a resolution is forthcoming, but I have little faith at this point. My rent was also increased on a 3rd floor unit on 6/23. Its hard to swallow the fact that Im paying more in rent for a unitI tha that I cant access than I was prior to the elevator being out of service. I have made eight calls to customer service since the problem started on 4/27, 5/4, 5/9, 5/23, 5/30, 6/6, 6/13 and 6,19. I have received two ticket numbers, NBSD5575 and *****. I hoped to talk to a corporate manager about not only the status of the repair, but what compensation/remedy would be offered after a fix was made. I have yet to receive a single phone call after my repeated efforts. Please help.

    For the past couple of months I have not had full access to my storage unit located on the 3rd floor the elevator has been out for service for at least 2 months if not more all while this facility is enjoying full rent and has failed to provide any date as to which the elevator will be fixed I have spoke with I Storage corporate office who told me they would put in for a reduction for the storage that never happened also spoke with I Storage in Posen regarding this matter and they told me that not only could they not tell me when the elevator which has been down for months would be back up but they would need to wait until the elevator was fixed in order to make an adjustment it should not take over 2 months fix an elevator and the customers should be informed and issued a date on which the elevator will be running again in addition to reduction in the storage fee while the customer is being inconvenienced

    I have not been able to access my storage for almost two months the elevator has been out, I am disabled my unit is on the third floor I cant get to my items I have lost money because I cant access my business items. I am paying rent for my unit that I cant access this violates the Americans Disability act

    The Istorage Facility in Posen, IL is where I have a storage unit. My storage unit is ****. I have been paying my storage fee online but for the last couple of months I been unable to pay the fee online. I went to the facility several times over the course of 5-6 weeks and never seen anyone working in the office and I even called the facility multiple times in attempt to pay. I finally was able to pay over an automated machine but there is a lock on my storage that I was attempting to get removed which is why I went the the facility so many times over 5-6 weeks. I have contacted their corporate number in which I received a text message, which was automated, that stated that a property manager would unlock the storage. I have created several tickets with corporate and there still has not been any action. The property does not have a property manager because no works there. I am ****** frustrated at this point because individuals on the corporate level are lying about someone working there and a remedy to my action. It is also a problem that the facility is never secure when in the contract and advertisements states that this is a 24hr SECURE storage facility. The security gate is always open and the door to the facility is always open and unlocked. This is not a safe environment. This company is very misleading
