    This is the email I sent *** ***** and my realtor, **** ******* with *** ******. *** ***** told me he would call me and never did. *** ******* merely told me to call my insurance agent: "I wanted to make you aware of some issues you did not state were concerning during this home inspection. You stated the roof was fine. It is not. Photos attached clearly show that flat roofing was not done, valleys were inadequate, in addition to shingles poorly placed, causing water damage issues. Additionally, there are severe and life threatening electrical issues that are apparent. ****** told me today that the weather stripping of these wires is atypical, and would have been apparent in the overhead if proper inspection had been thorough. The roof to the main power does not typically strip due to weather issues in an 8 month time frame so it is unlikely these were not apparent during your inspection. My children and myself have been put at significant risk and it is abhorrent that anyone would pass such a poorly done roof that has become a cumbersome burden on my finances and my children and I’s safety. These things should have been noted and addressed prior to stating the roofing and electrical wiring was satisfactory. I hope this does not occur to another homeowner, and definitely not another single income home. Homeowners pay inspectors to protect them against things like this, and I was left with a money pit." He did nothing to rectify this situation. I have close to 40k in repairs that need done and am a single mother of three. I have no way to fix this. The furnace is corroded and faulty. The water heater is failing. The roof is inadequate. The gutters and soffits are failing. This inspection was done in the Spring. All of this was clear to professionals who have been here since, and it was not reported. These individuals, had they done their job, should have clearly seen the issues with this home. I trusted their expertise, as I had no other background knowledge.

    I met with my client on 2-7-23 to address her concerns, I felt there was one thing I may have missed on my inspection report so I refunded her the inspection fee. When I left her home everything seemed good.
