    I purchased a new blower pack for my rig that blows flour in the silos at bakeries from *********** and was told the blower that went was under warranty. It was well within the year warranty and the blower caught fire and started smoking when i was using it.. I use the right grease that Gardner Denver (who warranties it) recommends and i grease the blower every week. I have receipts that i bought the grease and have shown them the maintenance logs i keep. I had to pay for a new blower and put it on my personal credit card figuring I would pay it off when they honor the warranty and they denied the warranty saying there was no grease in the blower. Now i am stuck paying ****** a month just for interest on the card i put it on. For all i know the pictures they sent me could be someone else's blower with no grease. I would like to file a complaint on them not honoring the warranty and would like anyone out there who have had the same issue with Gardner Denver Warranties to speak up. My husband has been a cdl driver for over 30 yrs and takes care of his equipment because it is his livelihood. I wanted to start here by filing a complaint with the BBB and if it cant be resolved. I will contact the Ma and Iowa Attorney General to file a complaint as well. I am attaching the name of the person that we got an email from. *** and *************************. ***** Transport LLC

    A thorough evaluation was performed at the factory and it was concluded that the failure on the suspect unit was a direct result of a lack of lubrication in the Gear Case.  We suspect the oil level was not maintained to allow the Gears and the Gear End Bearings to receive lubrication and therefore therefore there was direct metal to metal contact. The customer provided video showing the Blower smoking under the truck rails, which should have been an indication to shut it down immediately.  While we regret the customer's experience, the complaint was not the result of a defect in materials or workmanship.  The moving parts within the Gear End did not receive adequate lubrication.  We're providing a written report of our findings.

    This has been resolved. 

     

    *****, our CST, contacted the whole group at Com-Pac Systems and was able to get everything straightened out.  Apparently they were contacting the wrong person the whole time.  During his call with them yesterday he was able to update them on the issue they were having and also gave them the right person to call if questions came up in the future.
