    I paid a retainer of $3500 6/15/24 on 6/17/24 I called the office and spoke with his secretary with questions regarding my case, and she told me she didn&#**;t have answer for me and that she would have him call me back. On 6/19/24 due to my not hearing back from him, I decided to go with a different Attorney, I reached out to him for a refund of my retainer the Attorney told me he would deduct for a consult fee, which was not mentioned before. I have not heard anything back from him.

    I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because: **** met with me for 20 minutes for a consultation. It was our first meeting. No payment for that meeting was discussed before, during or even before we left the office. I never signed anything to show acknowledgement of a charge for the consult. I paid 3500 the very next day to retain ****. It was only after I asked for my retainer back after he failed to do his job by not returning my phone call after 2 business days, that he said he was going to charge me for the consult. **** has refunded me all EXCEPT $250.00, which is unacceptable.
