In the process of selling my parents house the buyers chose this company to do the title work. At the closing I told ***** ****r before signing the papers she had the wrong amount on the tax assessment more than once, that I thought she was over at least $1000. She told me I was wrong and that our family had failed to turn in paperwork so we missed a deduction. After closing I went to the assessors office and found out she was wrong and therefore paid the buyer an extra $1080.00 of our money. She then went on to blame me for sighing, blame the realtor and the assessors office. Lied about our conversation and said basically said there is nothing they can do or will do i’m just out over $1000 because of her mistake. She refused to give me her bosses name or phone number said he would call me. I’ve had no phone call from him. She asked the realtors to go back to the people that bought my house and see if they could get the money from them. This entire experience should not have happened, it’s unethical and they should be standing behind their work. I paid them for their expertise and they didn’t bother to get the correct information and now they want me to have to pay for that. The closing was on 11/21/22.
