Astro provided an insulation quote dated 6/16/22. In the quote they NEVER noted that it was for a limited scope of insulation on the roof deck. They failed in everyday to define that they would not provide full roof deck installation. After we moved back into our home and experienced temp control issues in June 2023 they claimed it was not from the insulation. They further claimed to have a "certificate of insulation" as proof they completed all of the insulation in our home, The alleged certificate was never provided. We advised them we would be hiring *************** to do n energy audit and have the insulation work inspected. Only then did they inform us that they did not do all of the insulation work claiming they could not get access alleging we "refused" to remove drywall for them to do the install. At no time was any condition of removing drywall listed on the quote nor was the request made. After the energy audit we learned that they had failed to install all new insulation in almost 40% of our roof deck compromising the roof structure. To make matters worse the insulation they did install was not done to local building codes. Their claim of a limited scope of service is not noted on the quote for the job or the invoices. In all it will cost us more then 2x's the amount already paid to them to correct their errors. Astro and their parent company Installed Building Products has refused to take responsibility and pay for damages. Astro also refuses the warranty to us for the work they provided.
