      Cameo Dental promised a laser treatment cleaning in the amount of $9,616.00 over the course of two treatments between 12/4/24 and 1/23/25. They billed both myself and my insurance. They misbilled and tried to bill well in excess, but fixed the error. However, they now will not provide me with an itemized bill and what I've paid. It is my belief that I'm still owed a cleaning in the amount of $216 for periodontal maintenance. I had to pay out of pocket for one cleaning before the procedure, and therefore I'm still owed that $216.00 or the cleaning service needs to be provided post procedure as it was included in the pre-estimate.

      Mr ****** and I spoke several weeks ago and his issue was resolved.

      There was a mistake with how his initial visit was coded which led to a denial by his insurance company.

      We corrected the submission of the first visit, insurance reprocessed the claim for the second visit, the credits after insurance payments were paid back to him on 3/10 and 4/8.

      I AM A VICTIM OF ******************************* who refused to provide Medical records. ***************************, son of father who also was an endodontist for deckades, REFUSES TO GIVE ME MY FEDERALLY REQUIRED (BY HIPAA FEDERAL LAW) MEDICAL RECORDS after 1 year of sending federal HIPAA request and state of ** requests at the ** **** of Dentists Regulation. There was going to be a possible investigation of him in Summer, 2023.I also have suspicion and/or evidence that he may be secretly associated with the ******** Dental Association in which dentists in every state are members. I believe he is secretly associated with the ******** Dental Association (has done seminars with them) to save them THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in money losses and to attempt to prevent Dental Malpractice lawsuits from being filed by PATIENT VICTIMS. VICTIMS LIKE ME were ripped off about $10,000 or more in the past, and now a second time my FEDERAL CIVIL RIGHTS ARE BEING VIOLATED BY HIM.

      I took my daughter to the dentist office at ***************************************************************** for a root canal, and a piece of the equipment got stuck in her teeth/gum. The dentist recommended I take her to an endodontics to have it removed and I scheduled an appointment with the dentist office at ******************************************************. I was told by the office in ****** that I needed to pay a fee of $200 plus dollars for them to take a 3D x-ray of her teeth on the day of her appointment. So I contacted the office in ************ and the office was working with the office in ****** to provide them with the **ray they took of my child's mouth. However, the office in ****** was not sure if they were willing to continue the work with the x-ray the ************ office provided and without me paying the cost of the **ray after I let them know that I was not able to afford the payment. The entire process of a root canal performed on my daughter's mouth was charged to my insurance and I did not owe anything extra. I would like for the ****** office to be willing to work with me and the ************ office to allow this process to be free of charge.       To Whom It May ********************* response to the complaint, we received on 10/2/2023, Cameo Dental
      Specialists stands behind the importance of dental imaging. As a specialty
      office, we take a higher-grade imaging known as a CBCT scan. A CBCT scan
      provides incredibly detailed imaging of the teeth and surrounding areas
      compared to a 2D dental x-ray image. While traditional dental x-rays only
      show a static image of the hard tissues inside the mouth, a CBCT scan
      creates intricate 3D images that reveal much more detail. These scans
      allow the dentist to determine if your tooth has any abnormalities, fractures
      or additional canals which are not detectable via a standard 2 D image.
      Cameo operates on referrals from general dentists and as a specialty
      practice, some services are not covered by insurance. This patient was only
      provided a verbal quote over the phone and did not have any services
      rendered by Cameo Dental Specialists. We would appreciate it if you can
      remove this complaint from records. Please call me with any questions.

      I was treated by Bedford Dental in **************** and was given a referral to a specialist because the had did a bad job on my root canal. I called the referral Cameo Detal and was told that I had to pay out of pocket 295 for a consultation with out them even contacting my insurance. I had to make the appointment for a later date because I didnt have the funds available. When I was contacted to confirm my appointment I was once again reminded of the 295 consultation fee. When I arrived to the app my insurance was still not ran and I was given a paper receipt with out information regarding the charge. I contacted my insurance company and they told me that consultations were covered under my plan and when I called them to get a receipt with the code to submit it to my insurance it was a different story. The consultation was $195 and the charged me out of pocket $295 for a X-ray that I had already had at the previous dentist that was covered. Same exact machine. I asked why was I told the wrong information and they had no answer for me. Blamed it on an employee ********* and that was that. They said their call are recorded and I asked them to play it back they didnt want to. I was lied to and the dental practice was very unprofessional in that regard. I would like my money back.

      Thank you for listening. This is in regards to the billing office of Cameo Dental Specialists - billing office is in La Grange and their phone number is ************. My daughter, *********************************, had her wisdom teeth removed and they charged us out of pocket $**** and $295 for the consultation fee when we have BCBS PPO insurance! Then, they told us that the **************** will file the claim for both the **** and 295 that I paid out of pocket, and gave us a number to follow up with them. I have not been able to get in touch with the billing office at all. They have to file that claim ASAP an send me a copy of the claim. That is basically fraud! Every other office bills the insurance first and then they bill us. But apparently not Cameo. So, at this point I need them to file this claim ASAP with the medical insurance - which I provided a copy of at the time of visit. Someone has to call me to let me know that the claim has been filed and also either mail me or email me a copy of the claim they filed. This is outrageous - with insurance they are requesting so much up front. And, we called BCBS and have a letter that they are in fact in network and would cover the procedure. If I do not hear from them with the resolved matter ASAP I will be writing to the attorney general and the health department next. Thank you for your help. **** ************ ************************

      My apologies for the delay in response as I was unaware we needed to respond. Here is our response from Cameo Dental Specialists regarding complaint #********. Once we received the complaint the patient was called and we resolved the issue with the patient same day. The patients original complaint was that Cameo Dental Specialists had not submitted her dental and medical claims on her behalf. We had our billing team reach out to the patient and provide her with the dates that the claims were submitted on 8/9/2022. Patient had no other complaints and the issue has been resolved.
