    After hiring Handyman Connection to repair my front porch roof they claimed the side panels came off during repair but did not advise of such even after going up on the cost of the project and still didn't mention it until almost completing the job!****, the project manager said they were thinking of options to replace or fix the panels, but ran the last payment on my credit card without my consent or letting me know they were even finished with the job. (As of course I would have asked what was going on with the missing panels). We then discussed replacing the panels at a later date, but the company disappeared and had ignored my calls and voicemails for months until I opened up an ongoing dispute via ************ **** then finally calls me after receiving the dispute and says they will come replace the panels if I have Capitol One reverse the charges but I'm hesitant to trust his word or their work and have decided to reach out to BBB as I still have no panels on my house!Above the front porch roof in the picture is black, that is the missing panels it almost looks like tar or may be hard to decipher because there is nothing there and this is how Handyman Connection left my house looking, its hideous to see in person.

    I had deck rebuilt August 2023. The new wood was included in job.It was completed except for missing electrically box on 8/11/23. The electrical box was put back 9/7/23. As of early May 2024, less than 9 months later, the wood was cracking, warping and had shrunk showing the dreadfully poor workmanship. Nails are backing off and wood seams are jagged. I made calls to ****, the owner of Rockford franchise in May asking him to come and see my concerns. I sent text and pictures on May 21. He responded with a text on May 23rd after I left a voice mail asking if he received my text with pictures. He said he would swing over on Thursday or Friday. I responded asking him to schedule a time but no response. I followed up with him on May 28 and again on May 31 but no response. I sent him a video showing the poor condition of the deck rebuilt by him and his team on June 2 but he did not respond. I then reached out to Handyman connection corporate office three times, but they simply reached out to the local ******** (****) and he never responded to my messages. I sent him a letter on July 21, 2024, requesting he reimburse for labor, wood and deck staining I paid for early April before I knew the deck was going to shrivel up, warp and crack once the sun was out. I asked that he respond by July 30th but again, he ignored my request for resolution. I am hoping you can help. And I am hoping filing a complaint will help other potential customers BEWARE. I paid a total of $7,849.00 for work which included fixing a siding issue. There were no issues with the siding issue. The amount I am requesting is $5,970 for deck wood and labor and $770 for staining done by another company. This information is included in the letter I sent to Handyman Connection. I will upload photos and video once I log on from phone.
