I asked the salesman, when he gave me an estimate on siding, were they going to remove the awnings and re-install them, and he said "YES." Three months after putting down $15,818 they are finally installing the siding 1/31/24. Unfortunately when I asked the installers why they didn't remove the awning, he replied they were told not to. I complained and he called the salesman while I was present. The salesman didn't know I was there when the installer called and he told him they were not to remove the awnings. I began to speak and told him that wasn't what was agreed upon when him and I talked. He insisted that they would not be removed, but I remember the reason they got the job was because he told me they would remove and reinstall the awnings, the cameras, and the mailbox, when the others said they would not. Now they refusing to do it. I feel as though the salesman told me what I wanted to hear but knew he wasn't going to do it in the beginning. If he would have told me the truth, I would have went with a different company the bidded out cheaper.I feel slighted and cheated so the church should be refunded some of their money back. I believe the salesman did the bait and switch routine where he promise one thing to get the job, but then tell you it wasn't in the contract so now he doesn't have to. Hello,my name is ****** and I am a representative of Palmeri and Son. *************** in response to a customer complaint at the property on ********************************************************. In the complaint the customer is stating that awnings would be removed and put back on. He also has a complaint that he had waited 3 months after paying the downpayment of $15,818.00. First we originally met with customer on Aug 9th of 2023. In which time we discussed his project and took our original pictures for our file. Over the next 2 and a half months we gave customer 4 different estimates for various options. On Oct 27th a decision was finally made and we signed contract along with collecting the deposit (which is of total contract). When we meet to sign contract, we go over it with customer, and if they agree they sign. You will see on the contract that the very first line of contract states what we will be removing. We are also sending copies of all estimates along with contract. No where in the contract or any of the estimates does it state the awnings would be removed. So as far as the statement of a bait and switch, none of the 4 estimates or contract ever said anything about awnings. Next we do not order products until there is a signed contract along with a received deposit. Once we received them, we ordered his particular siding. Siding can take anywhere from 6 up to 10 weeks to receive. Once we received product, the weather in ******* was not cooperative. Between the snow storms and the below freezing temperatures, you can not install a vinyl product. So as soon as the weather improved to above freezing, customer was scheduled. Our salesman went above and beyond with the customer. Working with him on different options and giving multiple estimates. He worked with him for 2 months before anything was ever finalized. So to state he just said what he needed to get contract, is very contradictory when looking at all the work he put into it.

I am rejecting this response because: ****** was never present to comment on what his salesman did or said. One thing the reason I didn't say anything about the awning being on the contract is because the salesman told me it was a part of the job. If you are led to believe that something is a part of the job you do not expect to see it on the contract. Next, yes they did give me four different quotes but the reason it took so long to make a decision is because we had to wait on the salesman to come back with the quote for the siding. I called him on several occasions and waited on him to return it. While ****** is trying to make us look bad while he look better, all I have to say is look at all sides and state all the facts. I have spoken to the owner and he has been polite and explained and was willing to listen to my compliant but I believe ****** is now speaking on some factual this but without clarity nor proper understanding of the entire situation. The bait and switch does not come from the contract but from the salesman telling me the awnings would be moved to get the job but when they get on the job that they wouldn't. I pray that the truth would be accepted and all parties would be happy with the resolution. I'm not mad, just disappointed with ******'s respond when he wasn't present.
Sincerely,
Spirit ***************Business Response

Dear ***************************,
In no way was ****** trying to make you look bad. ******'s job. Is to. Respond to a complaint. The Sider contacted us to let us know that you were unhappy. I called you and asked what the problem was. My job is to make sure no matter what, the customer's experience is positive. I did let you know that I would be discussing this with the owner. Saturday morning, we had a meeting. To make sure moving forward that we did make it a positive experience. We cannot change what happened with ****. We take this complaint very seriously. Randy called you Saturday and said he would be taking the job over and asked you if you wanted to finish the job. I felt once Randy and you spoke on Saturday that even though it was not the way we wanted this job to start we were going to move forward. Mr. Palmeri has stopped by there every day, several times, taking pictures and making sure that the siding is going smoothly. We are happy that you trusted us to finish the work. I am sorry that are salesperson disappointed you. This is not something he has done in the past, but it will never happen again. I am terribly sorry this happened.
Sincerely,
***** From Randy Palmeri and SonCustomer Answer

Have been waiting several months for our new screen door to be brought back in repaired condition. This company does not return calls or emails and has been frustrating to deal with. The damage was done during installation and I kept being told "we'll take care of that". This has been since April 2023Business Response

Hello,my name is ****** and I am the representative of Palmeri and Son who was handling the job at **** ************* in **********. Along with the sales I also did the installation of the siding and the windows. We were contacted by ***** and ******************* about issues that had been noticed on their property. I went there in May to inspect and go over issues they had found. Once we had discussed the issues they were informed that I was backed up to do the recent storms, but that I would take care of them. On Thursday July 13th I did go to their home and do all repairs, with the exception of the patio doors screen door. When I left the property I took the door with me to send to the supplier so they could fix issues. Our supply company is Alside out of *******, but manufactured in ****. On August 21, I received an email from ******************* asking for updates. They were informed that it was not back yet. On August 28, I sent them email stating that the door was supposed to be shipped the following week, to which ******************* responded that sounds great. On September 8, I sent email stating that I should be able to pick up door following Wednesday or Thursday and then would be able to install door on that Friday. Door was not on truck. I sent email yesterday September 26, letting them know I had door and would be at their house first thing this morning. Door was installed this morning, to which I spoke with *******************. He said that was everything. We have pictures that are date and time stamped showing that repairs were done on July 13th.We can also provide emails if needed.
