      I called to change the registration of the chip for a pet I recently adopted. I was told by the representative that I had to pay either a yearly or lifetime membership in order to complete the registration and get a temporary login code to access my account. I questioned this because other companies do not require annual memberships, but he did not back down. I did not pay and when I looked on the website I saw that membership is optional and that I did have access to my account. Clearly this was a deceptive attempt to get my money. I strongly recommend using a different microchip company. I would give 0 stars it that were an option!

      I have free lifetime memberships for my 2 cats. Now not free free new puppy. Why is this? I would like same thing for my puppy according to precedent set in past 1-2 yrs.

      They are thieves. Do Not Use Spot. They let you sign up and make it seem like they will reimburse you for things and they wont. If they do itll be weeks after so they can scam more people to pay you back. I was told I would receive a refund for and emergency room visit and spent my last dollars on it only to find out that I have told spend a certain amount to even get a refund.

      My pets chip has been wrong from the start and they won't fix it. Always make excuses as to why they can't fix it. Everyone needs to know how bad their service is.
