    Came to this supermarket today 6/07/2024. Made a purchase of $168.50 with taxes and used my Chase Debit card and the transaction total came to $ ******. Once I realized the almost $10 difference, I called the store and requested and explanation. I was advised that it was the bank that charged and not them. I can understand a subcharge for transactions less than $5 dollars, but no where did they say or have a sign that they would charge more. When I asked the lady that answered the phone, where are you providing the warning of the action . She got nervous and said she was busy and hanged up on my. Thats not fair to the customers and myself. Please get this addressed. I sent online and did research and Im not the only one . Im a public servant and service people. This is horrible customer service. Thank you in advance.

    Good afternoon,

    Im sorry about your negative experience with us. Our credit card machines automatically charge a surcharge. There are posted signs at the location. Each register has posted signs. And there is a posted sign on the door as well. Im not sure who answered your call or if there was a miscommunication but you could have returned to the location as well to resolve this matter. No refund will be issued.
