    Regardless of my name (I literally got married during this fiasco (7/27) & I don't use my last name on ********** this company is a sham.  I did post my REVIEW on Nextdoor, which is a platform to help others in the neighborhood get recommendations for local business's we can trust. We can read reviews of our actual neighbors experiences, both positive or negative. Based on the comments from my review, there are several other neighbors that have had the same EXACT experience with this company.  When I contacted J & D, I thought I was putting my mower in the hands of a so called "professional" to diagnose and fix, as I don't know anything about lawn mowers.  If this "professional" would have taken the time in the beginning to inspect the mower and provide an accurate and complete estimate of all parts, labor, and warranty information, I can guarantee, I would have not have put $560 into a 15 year old mower. I would have started shopping for a new one. I was never told about the measly, 30 day warranty, until Oct ***************************** the middle of my 3rd mow.  Also as a "professional" in the lawn business, you would think they would understand that in the summer, grass grows differently based on if its dry for multiple days or it it rains a lot.  Grass grows faster with rain, and not much at all without it. So the number of times I had to mow would definitely vary on the weather, and has no bearing on how many weeks I have had the mower back.  I did not NEED to mow weekly since getting the mower back.  When I found out about the warranty, and finding out that nothing was covered, there was no way I was going to give my mower back to them and give them any more money.  Bottom line is, they never diagnosed the problems completely from the beginning, the repairs they did were faulty, they created new problems with the height level, they missed multiple promised delivery dates, they never disclosed warranty information until after the fact (I guess I should have asked, but never dreamed the warranty would only be 30 days, and the mower would break so quickly), and ultimately, they should probably not be in this line of work.  I'm sure this will never be resolved to my satisfaction, however, I would like this documented to help others make an informed decision on where not to spend their time and money.

     

     

     

    er 3 times since it was returned, and yesterday, half way done, the mower deck would not engage again! I called them, and was told that it's been over their 30 day warranty now, so they won't fix the mess they created, without charging me again!

    When I delivered the mower her husband said ****** wasn't going to make the payment until he fully tested the mower to see if it was in repaired condition and he drove the mower and cut grass in his front yard and said he was happy with the repairs and then went in to get the money from ****** and made payment to me.he asked if there was any guarantee as to which I replied yes my work is guaranteed for 30 days.please call right away if there's a problem.as I told ****** in our last text I would check  the mower out and see whats going on with it.all I need is the money for the pick-up and delivery fee.if it is broken at any fault of mine I will do those necessary repairs.if it turns out to not be the cause of my work in will have to charge for the repair.
