  We hired Shade ******* of Spaces by Shade on November 15th, 2021 to remodel 3 bathrooms, our kitchen, our wet bar, install doors, redo drywall in our laundry closet, and install a new light fixture. We paid her $14,625 at that time. We then paid her another $50,000 on November 28th as an additional deposit for the rest of the scope of work. Then on January 3rd, 2022 she said she needed an additional $30,000 to purchase materials, which we paid.She didn't have a current ******* license so we waited for that to arrive in March, so the project began in April.There were workers in periodically at the start and for sometimes a full week at a time there would be no one working. She stated that the start that the project would take approximately a month and it has been over 4 months and not one room is complete.On July 10th, 2022 Shade notified us that she misread our condo association guidelines and that we needed to redo electric work in our kitchen and plumbing in our bathroom, that along with some additional orders she wanted to make for the home.Then, at the end of July 2022, she had her workers just stop coming in and completely stopped work. She then traveled to ****** for vacation for 10 days where she gave us no communication while still having approximately $30K worth of work and deliveries left to deliver. She continues to tell us deliver dates and when we call the supplier to confirm, they tell us she never placed the order. She is still not communicating with us and has blocked us on social media platforms, texts and has never answered a call for the past month and will not return any calls.We have tried absolutely everything to try to get our work done and to receive the rest of our deliveries which we have already paid for and she will not respond.Right now, we are due around $20,000 in work and property. We believe Shade is the most unprofessional contractor that we could have every imagined and are concerned for future clients she may have.
