    Couldn't be more happy with the service I received. **** came out because I had no heat and he was very friendly and helpful. He did a great job.

    I recently had an experience Duane Blanton, and let me tell you, it went from "uh-oh" to "wow!" thanks to Josh, the service tech. When I first called, my heater had decided to take a vacation in the middle of winter—no heat, no good. Enter Josh, who not only saved my house from becoming an ice box but also made the whole experience pretty enjoyable.
    From the get-go, Josh was the kind of guy who actually listened and made me feel like I wasn’t just another customer in a long line. He was honest about what was wrong, walked me through the fix step-by-step, and took his time to explain things in a way that didn’t leave me feeling like I needed a degree in HVAC to understand. Plus, his friendly attitude made the whole situation feel less like a problem and more like an opportunity to learn a little something.
    Josh’s care for his job was obvious, and it was clear he wasn’t just there for the paycheck. He genuinely seemed invested in getting the job done right. After he was finished my heater running like a champ.
    I’m definitely going to be Duane Blanton in the future If all their techs are as friendly, honest, and helpful as Josh, they’ve earned a customer for life!

    Ive had them out once to clean out roots from our pipe to the sewer, once for an indoor backup and finally to line our sewer pipe with fiberglass and install an outside clean out and a back-flow valve. They were always on time for appointments, explained the process that was needed, were competitively priced (or below) and cleaned up afterwards.What I really liked was how well they communicated every step of the before and after. Plus how friendly and courteous *******, *** and **** and their co-workers are.

    I had 2 shutoff valves in the house that were frozen and needed to be replaced.The 79 dollar for them to come out and inspect was reasonable but their estimate to repair was way overpriced on the shutoff valves and upsold me on needing to replace my 2 outdoor spigots.The cost of repair of the frozen shutoff valves was $1500 and found out later could have been done for no more that $750 The cost of the two outdoor spigots was $1000 and instead of replacing the spigots, only the stem of the existing spigots needed to be replaced.Again the work was solid but strongly recommend no use them due to their greatly overpricing and overselling what needs to be done

    The business I'm unhappy with is... Duane Blanton Plumbing, Sewer, Heating & Cooling in **********, **. I contacted them about a residential toilet in our third floor bathroom, that kept on refilling, about every ten minutes. Their serviceman showed up, began looking into the tank and immediately began asking questions about the toilet's age and suggested we replace it, when all we wanted was either a replacement fill valve and/or a new rubber gasket. The serviceman wanted to see our water supply in the basement. I showed that to him and he, immediately examined our hot water heater, wanted to know its age and suggested we replace that! Then, he checked the intake valve and then looked at the main valve leading from the water meter. He also recommended that that valve be replaced. I did not bite on those offers and he wound up going to a local store, apparently, in spite of his large truck seemingly, not having any necessary parts inside! He replaced the rubber gasket, but not the fill valve and said all was well. We paid him and he left. A few minutes later, the toilet began its previous refill procedure, so we called the company and they contacted him, and had him come right back out. Basically, he did nothing to remedy the situation and we had "words". I used the "f-er" and told him to get out of our home. I would like our payment credited back to our charge card: about $193 for his "efforts" and futility. I had previously used what I think is an offshoot of this company, which uses the same name but offers better workmanship. I would recommend that offshoot, but certainly not the one supposedly located possibly in ********** or *********, **. Thank you! DQ

    My mother, who is 85, called about a broken toilet. Blanton came out over two consecutive days to replace the chain - and later the flapper (since apparently they weren't skilled enough to diagnose the simplest of issues during one visit). The grand total $296: for parts that cost about $30 at ********** and less than 30 minutes of labor (an additional $138 remains on our credit card and has yet to be refunded - so perhaps we're paying $434?). My parents have been loyal Blanton customers for years (just last month, they spent over $8,000 on a new furnace and air conditioner). Now, they get price gouged on the most basic fix (a theme I'm seeing on other reviews). I called customer service to discuss the excessive charge. They said a "field supervisor" would call me. No one returned my call. I e-mailed customer service. No one responded. Suffice to say we'll never use Blanton again. Incredibly disappointed on all fronts.

    Had their Hvac technician come out for the yearly furnace check-up and maintenance since it was free with their membership. They said our heat exchanger had a crack and the inducer motor was failing with a quote of a couple grand to fix. The technician was irritated that we decided to have our usually ************* all-temp, come check it out. Turns out nothing was wrong with our furnace. Duane Blanton has lost our business. Almost wasted a ton of money on a perfectly working furnace

    Would not recommend. The work was fine but overpriced. The technician spent a lot of time trying to up-sell ** on things we didn't need. Had to buy a maintenance contract for our furnace (which we don't need) in order to get a discount on hardware we purchased. And, after three months and repeated inquiries, we have yet to receive an itemized receipt so we can register warranties. Disappointed.

    I needed a new water tank when it started leaking from the side pipe. I turned the water off to not get water damage. They sent over a plumber to take a look, who turned on the water and left for an hour to get a quote. During the meantime the water was running and from the basement it soaked and damaged the brand new carpeting. While giving a quote they also ignored my request to provide a model number at least 10 times. They scam their customers by giving little to no information so you cant research what youre paying for. The tech that was here said he had to leave and others would come to install the tank. He said we have to pay in full before any work was even done. We paid in full, not knowing we were being taken advantage of from our panic.They only kept saying ***************************. I told them theres multiple models and prices but they wouldnt budge. After paying, you dont receive a receipt. After they finished the work, they send it to you. They use a broken iPad processed by Square so you dont even know what youre signing. On the receipt it said we were satisfied with the work BEFORE THEY even started working. Extremely unprofessional business that takes advantage of customers and people who are panicked due to house emergencies. Attached is the literal quote of the plumber who wrote what we were paying for. Is this professional? Absolutely not. Its a scam, planned out perfectly to take the most money from a client from a service that costs 60% less. On top of it, the tank is now leaking a week after AGAIN! I called and asked for a refund, they rejected saying they are satisfied with their own service. Disputed this and high chances I will take it to small claims court for scamming customers. I have a good attorney who will research all past transactions to make sure everyone whos been scammed can get in on the lawsuit so like this review and stay tuned.
