    ***Buyer beware Do not purchase any trees or do any landscaping with Lawnboyz We purchased 10k worth of spruce and maple trees from Lawnboyz and prepaid them in full. In turn we were told there was a 1 year warranty. 4 of those trees died. We have reached out over the last 2 months and **** (the owner) told us to give it time. We did and finally told him we need them replaced. He then proceeded to send his vendor (a man named **** from *******************) and wanted me to deal direct with this random guy. I paid **** not ****. **** says he only warranties trees to people that take care of their trees. What?! I dont have words **** has been hiding (this is a trend) and finally told me he would replace them for $5000.00 Side note*** (This is the $5000.00 he came up with for a different project we paid in full for, that he says he didnt charge enough for after the fact and asked us for it) in fact, he begged me to go to a meeting to argue with his other vendor to help Him collect it. He proceeded To tell me he couldnt mKe payroll. This is not my problem as a customer to make sure he can pay his employees. I did feel bad that he is having such a hard time managing his business but that is not my Responsibility to help him collect money and then just give him money because he needs it Working with them is bad business. If you do choose to work with him, be prepared for the following: whining that he cant make payroll, not finishing the work, vanishing for long periods of time (usually for a family issue) and lastly - not getting what you paid for.

    We originally started work with Lawnboyz in 2020 on a back patio. The cost was $50,000+. We had multiple issues and the patio required replacement several times. This was for a variety of reasons - the stone originally had boot prints and was staining, Lawnboyz claimed it was bad product. The next time they incorrectly applied the sand and it turned white, and another time the product was chipping. It took an extreme amount of communication to get them to follow up on each of these. They had multiple meetings and visits to my home that were unproductive. Multiple times my patio/yard were unusable for 1-2 week periods. Part way through we were told they would discount additional work on the front of our house. Later on they denied that until I wrote an honest public review.The patio was most recently replaced summer of 2022. Since that time we've had continued issues. The black polymeric sand comes up in chunks every time it gets wet, it is now half missing and uneven through the patio. They said they've never used black sand before and it must be the sand itself, offering no solution. I contacted the manufacturer who said the sand was installed both to the wrong height and not vibrated in which creates this issue.Additionally, since the last replacement the gas firepit on/off valve now fills with water. The water then becomes a solid chunk of ice making the valve inaccessible once the temperatures drop for winter. Lawnboyz told me this was fine. The have been unresponsive to communication regarding these issues. Multiple calls, texts, etc. At this point they've been in my yard for weeks, possibly months total. I have given them more than sufficient time to repair but they've only created additional issues.
