    I am handling this billing issue for my husband who by the way is no longer a patient here. Asthma and Allergy Wellness Center sent us a bill for .70 cents in the mail which I did not keep. For .70 cents, I figured I would just call and pay the silly thing to close the issue. When I called to pay it, they then said we owed them $37.00. I told them I wanted to see a ledger to see exactly where it was owed before I would pay it. They said they could not do that. We then received a bill dated 3-6-23 for $19.32. After that we received a bill dated 3-8-23 for $24.32. I called and told ****************** have proof of payment for the service date of July 20, 2022 for $15.98 in the form of a check. She told me that check was applied somewhere else. We've had problems before with this place. I had to spend hours going through our records finding out it was their many errors that led to the problem then. I'm tired of having to waste my time with this place. I sent a check with my husband every time he went for his shot to be applied to that specific visit. Many times they said they didn't need the check and put it in a drawer. I would upload documents but I can't scan right now due to printer issues.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The patient was not sent 4 statements prior to his submission to a collection agency per billing policy.  My husband and I go over all of our mail together so I know exactly what we received.  We received a bill for 70 cents which I called to pay.  Then they told me the bill was another amount.  I can't remember the other amount, it was verbal.  I told them before I paid it I wanted them to send a ledger in the mail.  I told them I would go through it.  If I saw we owed them I would pay the bill.  I was told they couldn't do that.  The other bills we were sent were $19.32 dak *** March 6, 2023 and $24.32 dated March 8, 2023.  If they send my husband a ledger in the mail and we go through and find an error on our part, we will be happy to pay the original amount of $15.98.  I don't thinthat is being unreasonable in the least.  I do have the bills for $19.32 and $24.32.  I know it's legal to send a ledger through the mail in my husband's name to his residence.  He doesn't have to go to their office.
