I was in physical therapy they didnt help me with my sciatica or make my pain better. They told me to quit my job and gave me basically no hope for recovery. I was making my payments and then suddenly they started charging me more without me knowing about it shoved a piece of paper in my face to agree to paying more when I had no idea what it meant. Kept scheduling my appointments to get those big $$$ from my insurance company. Once scheduled dry needling and gave someone else my appointment instead of canceling gave me more massage that makes my condition worse. Now all the sudden I owe $500 from November. I went in 2 mornings a week and it never occurred to anyone at the desk to ask me for a payment. I want a reduction in my bill or for it to be written off.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.  We appreciate the opportunity to address your feedback.

Throughout the course of your treatment, you expressed positive progress and an improved sense of well-being.  At no point were you advised to quit your job or informed that there was no hope for recovery.  In fact, our assessment indicated excellent potential for improvement with the treatment plan.

Regarding billing, in the later months of 2023, you were paying a set fee for each service, having already met your deductible for that year.  As treatment continued into 2024, your deductible renewed, resulting in a higher required payment per visit.  While the cost of treatment remained consistent between 2023 and 2024, your responsibility increased based on your insurance plan.

We inform clients about their insurance benefits.  Although this information is available through your insurance company, we also provide it as a courtesy for your review.  You actively initiated and participated in your treatment plan, expressing approval of all strategies.

As per our contract with your insurance company, our billing department submits claims and awaits processing before notifying clients of their payment responsibility.  Once claims were processed, you were promptly informed of your balance via email statements.

We regret that your experience fell short of your expectations.  However, in this case, we believe that there was no further action we could have taken to alter the outcome.  Ultimately, you are responsible for paying your deductible amount.

I am rejecting this response because:
It was implied to me that I would never be able to do high impact exercise and I was told my body doesnt like my second job and I should work one job. Do you agree? Because if youre calling me a liar I have everything documented. My back dr. Who is treating my condition never recommended this. It was not until after I stopped physical therapy I started recovering.
    Sincerely,

You were educated regarding ways in which to modify your posture while performing your job duties in order to alleviate your symptoms.  The role of a physical therapist is to identify aggravating behaviors or movement patterns which may contribute to pain and to assist clients in changing their habits to reduce symptoms and to prevent pain from recurring.  The physical therapy treatment that you received was appropriate for your condition.

I am rejecting this response because: It was implied to me that I should quit my 2nd job and that I had a very bad back problem thats why I wasnt healing. It was explained to me by a medical doctor that I have a medium back problem. During the worst pain of my life I had very little hope for recovery. Please advise people on facts not assumption's. My complaint was regarding a bill that was accumulated. I didnt receive any bills and all the sudden a large bill. Then treating me like my bill is quite over due

    Sincerely,
