I received a bid of $1912.68 to install a new garage door opener at my shop so that I can install another lift in my garage. The bid was to install a new garage door opener at the same height as the garage door opener in the bay next to it that already has a hydraulic lift for vehicles. The new opener was installed on 1/11/2023. It was not installed at the correct height, there were inch wide gaps in between the garage door and the building, the opener was barely hanging on the wall. The next day after inspecting the job we called and requested them to come back out and make the corrections. The owner came out and inspected the work and said they work fix it. Approximately two weeks later they came out and corrected all of the issues except adjusting the height of the door which is necessary to install the lift. They said they had parts on order and would be back. Now they are saying they can't adjust the height of door. The door right next to this one is what they agreed to do and now that it is installed they say they can't do it at the height that was bid and is required to install the lift.Business Response
