March 19 ******* Mariqur with Relianz restorations came out to our property, looked at our roof and said that they were going to file a claim on our behalf. At this point in time he let me know that his company has their own public adjuster that they use, which is *****************************. Had me sign paperwork so that they can speak to my insurance company. They filed the claim I received several calls from ******** telling me that someone was calling impersonating me on the phone so they were worried about fraud. After I contacted them directly, they let me know that Midland was the one trying to contact the insurance to set up the inspection however, the office girl was not telling ******** properly who they were and instead they were saying they were me. Once we sorted that out, they were able to schedule the first date. Up-to-date right now we have scheduled five different dates with a current one set for May 16. After speaking to Allstate several times to the desk claim clerk ****** *****, and also to the inspector *** they let me know that Midland is the one that keeps rescheduling and is dragging this out. ******* with the roofing company, let me know and sent me in our office memos that they were having a hard time scheduling with ********. Ive never once been able to not getting in contact with anyone regarding my claim within an hour. I reached out directly to ******* to find out what was going on. We called several times. We sent an email. One call was answered bya gentleman named ****, who told me that I needed to speak to the main office. I started calling again to get in touch with the main office. I reached a female who let me know that **** is the one that I need to speak to after speaking to him today I asked them to remove yourself from my claim, as well as the roofing company. They have been very disrespectful dishonest and extremely hard to get in contact with anyone. At the end of our conversation, Im still waiting to hear back again.Business Response

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the complaint submitted by ******** *******.
First and foremost, we want to express that we regret any frustration Ms. ******* experienced during the adjustment scheduling process. However, several key facts need to be clarified:Authorization to Act on Behalf of the Homeowner ; Ms. ******* signed a legal Letter of Representation (LOR) authorizing ****************************** to file and manage her insurance claim. This is standard procedure in our industry and ensures clear communication with the insurance carrier. At no point did any member of our team misrepresent themselves as Ms. *******. We have no reasonnor incentiveto impersonate our clients, especially when we are acting under legal documentation provided directly by them.
Scheduling Conflicts Were Initiated by the **************************start="1032" data-end="1035"> ************* adjuster from ******** initially scheduled an inspection without consulting our availability. Because our calendar was already booked with prior client appointments, we had no choice but to request a reschedule to ensure proper representation. Had ******** coordinated with **** is standardwe would not have had to reschedule. Even their own representatives acknowledged that ********'s adjuster did not handle the process appropriately, which caused confusion and delay.
We Have Released the Homeowner from ***********************start="1584" data-end="1587"> As of 5/8/25, we formally released Ms. ******* from her contract with Midland Public Adjusting at her request. No money was exchanged at any point in our professional relationship. The release letter was sent to ********, and we have withdrawn entirely from this claim.
We Believe This Complaint is ********************start="1949" data-end="1952"> We respect a homeowners right to work with whoever they feel most comfortable with. However, filing a BBB complaint over a single necessary rescheduleespecially when it originated from the carriers miscommunicationfeels excessive and damaging. We are a busy firm, just like ********, and scheduling conflicts can occasionally arise. We always strive to resolve these with professionalism and transparency. We never said we wouldn't release her, all she had to do is ask. We take our reputation seriously and work diligently to serve each client with respect and integrity. This complaint misrepresents our actions and omits key details about the challenges created by the insurance carrier.
Respectfully,
****** ***********

This was originally submitted with the incorrect resolution request. I expect the contractor to complete the contracted service. Please review this request. Not a duplicate. The adjuster/proprietor of this company failed to perform the agreed repair after 8 months of signing a contract. I've made multiple attempts to understand the reason for this delay and he has not returned my request for information. Due to their lack of response/follow through completing the repair to my roof my homeowners policy will not be renewed in 2025. Stay clear of this company and subsidiary listed below. Relianz Restorations Co. ****************************************************************************************** I enlisted Midland Adjusting to negotiate a loss on my behalf in late 2024. ******* ******* license #********* signed a contract on 8/6/2024 assured our family he was confident working with large companies such as **********************. After the initial evaluation in September he failed to return to complete the necessary repairs and for 8 months dragged out doing the work while assured us he was following up directly with my insurer. In February of 2025 I received a notice that my insurer would not renew our policy after April 2025. I contacted ******* immediately to notify him of the situation and he resolved to push his "higher **** to accelerate my work order and complete the necessary repairs. As of April 16 I've called/texted several times and he has not responded or followed up. He has failed to notify us as to why the work order was not completed and opted for the cowardly option.******************************* *******************************************************************************Business Response

I had hail/wind damage to my roof/pool at ****************************. ******, ** on 05.07.23. I contacted Midland Public Adjusting/Relianz Restoration to help get my roof repaired. This company had NOTHING to do with my pool and **** was trying to get money from this also. ****-Midland Public Adjusting was able to get a roof replacement. We met 10.02.23 to finalize for the roof. I signed the document labeled Signed Document--10.02.23 after **** explained the work to be completed and not to be completed. He wrote the document labeled Worksheet by **** and I put document labeled Worksheet $919.90--10.02.23. **** wasn't going to complete some of the work so there was a refund to me of $919.90. Upon looking at the document from ** labeled SF Damage Claim Policy--09.18.23, I noticed that **** did NOT include some of the work that he was NOT doing on the Worksheet $919.90--10.02.23. I contacted him on this, he was beligerent, would NOT admit that he did miss some line items. He then revised the work order to be labeled Unsigned Revised--10.15.23. I DID NOT SIGN THIS DOCUMENT. HE FORGED THE 1ST DOCUMENT AND REVISED TO THE 2ND. The new work order should have been like one labeled Worksheet $1,181.01--10.15.23. This docuemnt has ALL the work that **** was NOT completing unlike the 1st worksheet. Upon him revising the worksheet on 10.15.23, I was getting $76.38 refunded. I asked him for an explanation numerous time and he would NOT get me a detailed list. I believe that **** has scammed me of my money from this project. I contacted my ** agent *************). Upon ** reaching out to **** to help with this claim, he was also beligerent to her. He did NOT like that we caught him scamming the numbers from this project. I have attached--Midland Adjuster document--all emails and documentation from ****/** in regards to asking for explanations and him NOT responding. My ********* believe that he does NOT do all the work on claims so that he can get a huge amount of money for himself. I would like to recoup my $1,181.01 that he has swindeled from me. Please feel free to reach out to myself or ** to better understand.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:Relianz Restoration has NOT done the documentation properly for this roof replacement.
I attached the Signed original--10.02.23, Worksheet by ****, Worksheet010.02.23, unsigned revised--10.15.23, worksheet-10.15.23 and State Farm Damange Claim policy.
Reliance Restoration did not complete the Signed original--10.02.23 as it was INCOMPLETE with the items that were NOT being done. When questioned about this, the unsigned revised-10.15.23 was done and there was NO explanation and i tried numerous times to get a written explantion of the new numbers on this document. I DID NOT signed the unsigned revised-10.15.23 and this is FORGERY. Relianze Restoration is NOT being compliant with the original documentation and did NOT like that I caught some errors on this document and when doing the unsigned revised, the calculation was changed from the original document that I signed on 10.02.23. That is when a new document--unsigned revised--was created and I did NOT agree to this document. I believe that Relianz Restoration is taking advantage of homeowners and NOT doing their job and missing items on the damage claims. I do know that i am NOT the only homeowner that is dissatified with Relianz Restoration.
Sincerely,

I have talked to the ***************** owner ******* & she has confirmed that we do not owe anything else to **** ** & ******* said she had a conversation with **** ** to confirm this. ******* also informed **** ** that $1,107.11 is available directly from State Farm once **** ** completes the work that was not part of our work order. At this time we have completed all of our obligations & *************** own insurance agency agrees.Customer Answer

Complaint: 21083906
I am rejecting this response because:This has never been about the claim with State Farm and the claim money. It is about the way Midland Public Adjusting and Relianz Restoration has handled this entire situation.
1. Upon getting the work order on 10.02.23, I was told of items that would NOT be completed in this claim. The work order was completed and signed with a $919.90 return to me.
2. I found items that were NOT included in this claim and brought it to the attention of Midland Public Adjusting. At this time, he became very hostile and said that the was "doing me a favor" and he would rework the numbers. He then sent me a revised document that I DID NOT sign and the return to me was now $76.38. I tried numerous times to get a written explanation of this change in the order and he would NOT comply. He forged my name to a document that I did NOT sign. This is very poor business practice.
3. There was damage to my pool and he also tried to take a commission from the pool repairs which he had NOTHING to do with. This is unacceptable as a business to take money for something that they did NOT have anything to do with.
4. On 10.02.23, Midland Public Adjusting should have been on top of the repairs that were to be completed and which were not. It was NOT my job to look over the work order and find mistakes. That was for Midland Public Adjusting to do and this was NOT done properly. He was very rude on phone conversations in regards to the difference in amounts.
5. The home roof was done on 10.31.23 and I still needed to have the two (2) other sheds reroofed. He did NOT even get in contact with me to let me know when the other repairs would be done in the future. The other repairs were done on 11.08.23 with NO contact from Relianze Restoration on the project.
6. I was told that the shingles (GAF Timberline HD) had a warranty of 20 years and I was under the assumption that this would be handled with Relianz Restoration to get the shingles registered with GAF. I needed to make numerous phone calls to Relianze Restoration, only to find out that it was MY responsibility to register the shingles with GAF. This should have been the contractors job to do this but again this was NOT done.
7. Being Midland Public Adjusting and Relianz Restoration would NOT give me any answers as to why the work order went from $919.90 to $76.38, I contacted my State Farm agent to help me to understand as I believed that this company was trying to ******* money from both myself and the insurance company. *********** would NOT even give an explanation to my insurance as to the difference in the amounts. He was having NOTHING to do with my agent and only talked with the claims department.
6. On 12.18.23, i returned from work at 3pm and found numerous shingles off of my home roof and other shingles flapping in the wind. I notified Relianze Restoration of the damage and was told that someone would be out to look at it soon. I was not home over the holidays and upon returning found that the torn shingles had been removed from my property and the roof was repaired. I NEVER received any notification of this and I am NOT sure that the entire roof was repaired as numerous shingles were moving on the roof on 12.18.23.
7. It was only six (6) weeks from the roof repair until shingles were coming off of my roof. This is VERY POOR workmanship for Relianze Restoration.
8. After contacting BBB, Midland Public Adjusting and Relianz Restoration has been in touch with my State Farm agent and has NEVER tried to reach out to me to get this resolved. This had NOTHING to do with the State Farm claim but with the way the numbers changed on the work order after the company was questioned on the project. It did NOT benefit them so they were changing the way the project was charged.
8. I would NEVER recommend Midland Public Adjusting and Relianz Restoration for any project. They have very POOR business ethic and are only out to make money at the expense of the homeowner. They are a very shady company that does NOT have any consideration for the homeowner. Their communication with the homeowner is very POOR and when things do NOT go in their favor they change up the figures to benefit themselves as in # 1 and #2 above.
9. To this day, I have NEVER been able to get a written statement of the changes that were made from the original work order on 10.02.23 and the FORGED work other that was done after the company was questioned. NONE of the numbers from the original work order are on the FORGED work order. How can a company change the numbers so that it is to their liking and benefit themselves?
