      Ive never heard of Trident University International until I checked my credit report in August and it appears I was sent to debt collections **************************** I never enrolled for any classes at this school but my name and social security number were stolen and were used but they had the wrong email address and mailing address. I have contacted both ************************ and Trident University Ombudsman ****** ****** who asked me for documentation and a copy of the police report I filed which I sent her in September. Ive never heard back from anybody from Trident University after calling and leaving them messages on their voicemail and sending ****** ****** e-mails. This is a scam! A reputable university would take the proper steps to admit students such as collecting their transcripts. Im not liable for $1600 theyre collecting for a class I never enrolled for.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      First, Trident University is just making excuses about not getting back to me. Aside from the multiple e-mails I sent their Ombudsman that conveniently went to an unchecked folder, I also left voice messages for the Ombudsman - not once did she return my phone call.

      Second, the fraudulent collection is still showing up on my credit report. I have sent them proof of my identity to prove I did not ever enroll at their institution - what kind of school doesnt even have transcripts of students they admit? They had the wrong mailing address and e-mail address. Their collections agency, ************************ was still calling me to collect a debt for service I never received nor wanted 1-2 months after I sent the Ombudsman all the documents she had asked for.

      Third, when you search Trident University, youll find multiple unsavory reviews about them and how they scam military veterans. Do better.
