    -07/19/23 -$****.00 -Business was to replace my car transmission by the end of next day. I assumed at worst this would be delayed 24 hours max.-There is several discrepancies and exchanges lacking clarity since the day i met the owner and our transaction. He was fully confident in his capability to have this repaired in a timely fashion. He seemed like a nice authentic guy. He demanded payment upfront. I didn't hesitate and that was my first mistake. The cost for services including transmission replacement, axles, bearings and labor was ****. I paid in full. I also mentioned to him that this is a time sensitive issue because I was moving across the country in a week. He said that would be a non issue as this was a quick fix for the next day. Later that day, I had questions and concerns and reached out via text. I asked him to call me back. He said he would when his hands weren't full. I did not hear from him that day. The next day I called in the morning to talk about my concerns.From this point forward he was very hostile and I felt like i was dealing with a man child. He wasnt clear on the warranty terms, he didn't mention that there were various levels of transmission fixes. He said i "settled" for a level 1 fix. As far as i knew there was only one fix. after arguing he said that he knows a LVL 1 fix would be sufficient. He said i was becoming a headache and I could get a refund, or he could start the repairs today. He gave me an extremely uncomfortable ultimatum. But i was still confused on why he was having trouble getting the transmission in. He was vague and simply stated there was a delay/ complication and didn't elaborate more. But again, confident that he would start repairs soon. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I got no updates the rest of day 2. Day 3 silence all day, no updates. Today Day 4, saturday, I officially feel like I'm being scammed and taken advantage of. He said Monday it will be ready. The guy is stringing me along. Help please!
