    I previously went to The Salon Professional Academy in Plainfield, I dropped out October of last year, attempted to go back in January did not get any answers until may of this year. To which I was told I had to pay $2900 to go back. Fast forward 2 weeks later the school closed down. Fast forward to this past Monday date of 9/18/2023, I spoke with my one of my fellow classmates who told me to reach out to the previous owner *****************************, I have been struggling to get in contact with him to get ahold of my transcript he has been asking repeatedly if I had any money due to the school, to which I responded to my knowledge I did not. He said he will contact the third party company that is holding the transcripts. Fast forward to today 9/21/2023 I have yet to hear anything back from him. I asked for the companys information, no response. I have tried to contact every department within the state that I could think of, as well as had someone tell me to file the complaint as they were unsure what to do. As well as contacted the old director and previous teachers. I am just getting a run around, all to get my transcripts. I was in school roughly 600 of 1500 hours, I would just like my transcripts so I do not have to start from 0 hours. Lastly I would just like my transcripts from a school that has since closed down.

    5/6/2021: $100 registration fee 5/22/21: $6000 down payment towards tuition. I spent $6,100 on the school not including the loans and scholarships I was eligible for. The owner of the salon Rich filed for bankruptcy and shut down the school, but he says I still owe money to the school. I had gone to the school while it was closing to get my transcript but the head of education *************************** said that they would mail the transcripts out to **. It has been almost 2 weeks and I have not gotten it. Another student told me to call the owner and ask for it directly. He said I could pay him directly I asked about the bank used and on text he says theres no bank, just pay to the school. I graduated from that school 3/8/2023, but I am still being denied my transcript. They have left me in the dark since, along with all the other students.
