    In April 2024, I purchased an S240 Riding Lawn Mower from P&K Equipment, ******, Il. It has less than 5 hrs riding time on it. I purchased the extended warranty plan which doesn't expire until April 2031. ************** said that debrie fell into the gas tank and is charging $550 because this is not covered by warranty. This mower's gas hole is HUGE! P&K stated that getting grass and other debrie is a "common problem." Why isn't this stated in the manual or why wasn't I advised of this "common problem?"I should've received a warning from employees about the "common problem" Plus there is no way that any grass would go unnoticed as the gas hole is so huge. I paid cash for this Riding Lawn Mower and believed I was purchasing a quality product.I am upset over this purchase, its inferior quality, and the fact that it's going to cost me $550. Please help me resolve this issue with P&K Midwest. Please settle this unwarranted and expensive purchase of a VERY LOW-QUALITY riding mower from P&K Equipment, ******, **. I feel I am being taken advantage of because I'm elderly. P&K needs to waive the $********, debris that fell into the gas tank would be very obvious. It is delivered with gas already in it, so how do I know P&K isn't responsible?It also has poor shocks, rides very bumpy and doesn't go up small hills like it ********* 25 yr. old **** Deere Sabre had a smooth ride and was able to do hills with ease.When the guy from P&K picked it up, it started right up. If the filter was as full and as plugged up as P&K said it was, why would it start so easily for the guy who picked it up?I feel I'm being taken advantage of as a senior citizen that paid CASH for the purchase and extended warranty of a poor-quality **** Deere Riding Mower. P&K needs to waive the $550 repair charge.
