On June 1st 2023 my 12 y.o. son entered into a partial hospitalization program at ****** Behavioral Health in ******, **. We were hoping to go to their location in ********, ** but were told we needed to attend their office in ******,** as the ******** location did not provide the services we needed. We were advised that during admission we would have to fill out paperwork, get my sons vitals and meeting the treatment team. Upon arrival the Nurse came out to the lobby and starting to speak converse with us in earshot of other patients and parents about my sons condition, along with names of specific drugs he was taking. we were shocked they would do this in the lobby. After that when we went to meet with our treatment team a person not part of my sons treatment team told us that no member of our treatment team were there today(Thursday June 1st) and would not be back till Monday. His Counselor, his Therapist and the Dr were all on vacation. we did not get an answer when I asked why we were told to start that day when none of his team was there. We spent over 4 weeks at this horrible place. They would put my son in a room by himself for 45 min to work on his issues. Really!!The commute was not working for us. 44 miles total and over 1hr 45min back and forth every day. I had to take one week off of work due to my wife having to go out of town for business. This was the main reason we were hopping to have therapy at their ******** location. Upon notifying ****** we were leaving the program, they were very aware of the difficult commute from day one. ******************* informed us they have an opening at the ******** facility. My wife informed them that during our Phone intake that when we requested the ******** facility we were told ******** did not have the specific program. ******************* then stated via email that the intake individual provided incorrect information and this entire month we can have attended the ******** office, a 15 min commute.
