    I called A1 Rental vans to discuss renting a vehicle in the next month. They explained they needed a certain form from my insurance provider before allowing a rental. We discussed the type of vehicle available, how much it would cost and whether the date was available. He took all my information, including my credit card information, but nothing was confirmed. He proceeded to send me a credit card authorization form, which I was going to fill out if and when everything was confirmed. I called him back and told him that we needed to change the dates and he immediately said, well I'm charging you a $250 per vehicle. I said, you never told me I had to pay a cancellation fee if anything was changed and that is an outrageous fee. We are talking about a date that is over 2 weeks away and he specifically told me that they have plenty of availability of vehicles on a Tuesday. He said, "Well, I was going to send you the forms, but hadn't yet". I told him that was not discussed and I was not going to pay that. He started screaming at me, "you didn't do your job and you are a horrible businesswoman", all sorts of crazy yelling, so I hung up. He immediately sent me the form by email that he should have sent me in the first place with their policies and rushed to charge my credit card that moment. I called my credit card company right away and they told me I would have to dispute the charge, because he just submitted it. I did not authorize the charge. I had not filled out his credit card authorization form or given him any of the necessary insurance information. We had discussed a date, but just to make sure it was available.
